Third person POV

The Valencia-Moretti mansion
(A day before, midnight)

It was late at night and Francesco Moretti was in his eldest son's office with both his eldest sons, Alex and Stefan.

"Call Zaydon," Alex ordered

Stefan nodded and switched his phone on and went through the contacts. It soon started ringing. Once, twic-

"What?"

"Come in the office." He ordered and hung up.

After five minutes, Zaydon entered wearing a hoodie and shorts. He sat on the chair in front of the desk. Alex sat on the other side of the desk and was reading a file.

Zaydon looked around the whole room and found both his brothers and father busy so he took his phone out.

Alex slid a file kept near him towards his younger brother. Zaydon took the file and started reading it.

Zaydon threw the file on the table after reading it. Alex turned his attention towards him, "You are going to Los Angeles for all these and you are not going to return without all the money. Take this file with you-" Alex looked at Stefan when he heard a notification. Stefan checked his phone, "It's Ready."

Alex nodded and shifted back to Zaydon, "The jet is ready and you have a week to get all my money from these people back. You have twenty minutes, leave fast."

"You're telling all this to me now!?" Zaydon spoke with slight anger

Alex leaned back in his chair with his arms still on the desk, "When did you want me to tell you?" He asked in a deadly calm voice.

Zaydon opened his mouth to speak before closing it again, not finding anything to say, he closed his eyes frustratedly, "At least you could have told me earlier." He muttered

Alex heard him and so did his father and Stefan but didn't say anything. They knew Alexander did not like when he is interrupted by someone during a conversation.

Better to stay quiet than face the devil.

"Now you have eighteen minutes left," Alex stated coolly picking his phone up

Zaydon quickly picked up the file and opened it, he started going through each page and add all the money.

"Why do I have to do it? It's only one million dollars. You can send anyone you want, why me?"

Alex kept his phone on the table, "Who do you want me to send?"

Zaydon gritted his teeth before sighing and shaking his head, "No one, I'm going."

"I expect you to return early if your job is done and not roam around in clubs. Is that clear?"

"I doubt it would be done until then. All these places are in different corners of Los Angeles." Zaydon said reading the file

"This task can be done in a maximum of four days if you are not found in clubs," Alex said in a challenging tone

Zaydon's steely determined gaze met Alex's cold one, "Meet you in four days then."
