It's Monday today and Dad is driving me to school before he goes to work.

"You have practice later?" he asked because he noticed that I brought my jersey and basketball shoes in a paper bag.

"Yes Dad, and I'll be home before 8 pm because our coach told us last night that we have another match next week," I answered.

It's not that I'm actually good at playing basketball, in fact, I'm only a substitute. However, substitutes are still important in a basketball team.

" Okay then, just ride a taxi when you go home," he said and focused on driving again.

The school bell rang, it means that classes this afternoon just ended and I was about to go out of our classroom when Sunoo grabbed my backpack and paperbag.

"Is it okay if I watch your practice?" he asked.

"Sure," I answered.

Lea is absent for today, she's always present during my practices but not today. She texted me this morning that she's not feeling well and that she needs to rest.

Sunoo and I went out of our classroom and went to our school gym where the basketball court is located.

"I'll go get changed," I told Sunoo and grabbed my paper bag that he's holding.

After I changed into my jersey, I gave the paperbag back to Sunoo.

"Okay! Is everyone present already?!" Our coach shouted and I immediately went near him.

"I have a new assistant. He will be in-charge of giving water bottles, towels, and as well as assisting everyone who will be injured. Come here Mr. Yang!" He said and we all turned to the direction that our coach pointed.

It's Yang Jungwon again.

Jungwon ran to our direction and stood beside our coach.

"Everyone, this is Yang Jungwon," our coach introduced him.

We proceeded with our warm-up after our coach introduced Jungwon.

"Okay! Let's do five V five! Eunso and Nayun choose your teammates but remember to be fair!" Our coach exclaimed.

I ended teaming up with Nayun and our team gathered together to plan.

My position in the team is Small Forward and I am in charge of roaming around the court and I also have the ability to score whether from long shots or close ones.

Our game started smoothly and the score is already 10-8 in favor of our team.

We scored once again and immediately went to guard our part of the court so that the opposing team won't earn a point.

While Eunso was dribbling the ball, Nayun ran towards her direction to steal the ball. Good thing she succeeded. I ran as fast as I can and she passed the ball to me.

I passed the ball back to her but she suddenly slipped and did not catch the ball.

"Oh no, JUNGWON MOVE OUT!" I shouted.

He was carrying the water bottles and did not see the ball coming and hit the side of his head which caused him to fall and pass out.

I ran fast to check if he's still breathing.

Sunoo did the same and carried Jungwon to the clinic. I felt relieved when I saw that the school nurse is still there. Sunoo immediately layed Jungwon on the bed and talked to the nurse.

"Y/N I'll just go get our things, I will be back," he said and went out of the clinic.

"So you threw the ball and it hit his head?" Our school nurse, sir Jake asked.
