Chapter 10: The Finale

<<<Two weeks later>>>

Dear Y/N,

I am deeply sorry for everything that I have caused you. I know it scarred you the most because I left you behind. Always remember that I never once forgot about you. I love you Y/N, I hope you continue to choose who you love and makes you happy. I hope one day if it is possible, you can forgive me. I'm sorry that I can't wait for that time anymore and left. Goodbye and take care Y/N.

I read the letter and cried once again. My birthmom died and her funeral was yesterday and yet, I still can't understand how she didn't even told me everything that she's going through.

She has a brain tumor.

"You're crying again," my mom Marie said as she went inside my room.

"We haven't even went out on a date together as a mother and daughter. She left me again but this time, I'll never see her again," I cried more.

"Shhh it's okay Y/N, I know it's hard for you but I also know that she's still in our hearts and will forever be remembered. She might not have a lot of memories with you, always remember that like what she wrote you, she never forgot about you. I hope you can also do the same Y/N because I know exactly what she felt after being away from her own child," she said and hugged me.

We heard a knock so my mom Marie quickly stood up to open my door.

"Y/N, Yewon is here," my dad said.

I went to the living room and saw Yewon sitting at the couch.

"Hi Unnie," she greeted and I just nodded. "If it's okay with you, I'd like to take you out on a date. I just want to fulfill what my mother couldn't do with you. Just imagine you're going out with her," she said and looked at her shoes.

I smiled before agreeing with her. We immediately went out to walk outside the subdivision to call at taxi.

" Where do you want to eat Unnie? My mom, I mean our mom wanted to treat you out on your favorite restaurant," she said as she scratched her neck.

"I don't usually like to go to fancy restaurants, when me and my friends hang out, we only go to a fast food restaurants like Jollibee or Mcdo, sometimes we just eat street foods that's all," I said. "What else does she wanted to do with me?" I asked.

"She wanted to go shopping with you, play in the arcade, and most importantly, she wants to stare at the stars with you at night," she said.

I smiled. She really does wanted to hang out with me.

I looked at Yewon and I can see my mom's eyes and nose on her.

" You really look like her huh?" I asked.

"Yes Unnie, that's why she told me before that if she'll ever leave this place without even doing all her plans with you, I should do it for her,"

When we reached outside the subdivision, we immediately saw a taxi. We decided to just go to the mall.

Today was fun, we ate at Jollibee and played in the arcade until we decided to go back to the subdivision because it's getting late already.

"Unnie, wait here. I'll just go get the blankets," Yewon said and left me at the park.

We decided to just do the star-gazing here at the park because its safer here inside the subdivision.

Yewon and I shopped for our snack for tonight and I think we shopped too much because she took a lot of oreos with different flavors plus I took different chips, junk foods and drinks.

I got snapped back from reality when I heard my phone rang.

I looked at it and saw Jungwon's name so I quickly answered it.

"Hello?" I asked

"Y/N, I asked Yewon if I could substitute her for tonight. I also wanted to star-gaze with you," he said on the other line.

"Why would you substitute her? Just join us, there's too many food here," I said.

"THANK YOU UNNIE HAHAHAHA," I heard Yewon shouted. I think Jungwon's phone is on loud speaker which is why she heard my answer.

"Urghh fine," Jungwon said that made me giggle.

He turned off the call and I waited patiently for them.

I think it's a liitle bit weird because Yewon is Jungwon and I's half sister. I'm on the mother side and he's on the father side.

So what if we'll get married? Is my mom Marie be Jungwon's mother-in-law or my mom Marie will be my mother-in-law?

I'm a bit confused to be honest.

Well it doesn't matter anyway though. As long as Jungwon and I stay together, I'm happy.

"UNNIE!" I heard Yewon shouted so I turned her direction and I also saw Jungwon with a little bit pissed reaction.

Our life may not be as perfect as other people sees but I know for a fact that as long as we're happy together, we'll stay forever.

I know both of our families suffered from our past but now that it's fixed, the scar is now healed. We are now healed. We forgave whoever we need to forgive and move on from the past.
