Chapter 4

Recap:

'An arm crept behind Mr Tschuchigamori and while I was struggling to figure out how he could see me and five more appeared. They spread out from behind him. "Yanomi meet school wonder No.5 Me Tschuchigamori, AKA the four o'clock library....'

"You're...... you're a teacher........and a wonder?" This was alot to process. I didn't think the first apparition I'd meet as a wonder would be a teacher. "It's not as uncommon as you think." Mr Tschuchigamori-Sensai said when he saw my confused face. Something soft stroked my ankle and I jumped in surprise. A small white fox, with delicate patterns of subtle pink and blue decorated it. Three small bells hung from each ear. "Ahh yako, you've arrived!" Hanako said cheerfully, but Mr tschuchigamori did not look happy to see the small fox. "What are you doing here?" He asked Yako. The little fox hopped into his shoulder surprisingly nimble for Me Tschuchigamoris height and said "ask number seven, he summoned me." They both looked expectantly towards Hanako and he smiled broadly and pushed me forward slightly. "Mr Tschuchigamori-Sensai of the four o'clock library. Yako from the Misaki stairs. I am proud to introduce to you the eighth and final wonder of Kamome Academy, Yanomi of the English corridor." I smiled meekly at my introduction, where do we go from this? "Nice to meet you finally, No.8." the small fox said, settling herself down on the shoulder of my former teacher. "Please, call me Yanomi." I offered politely. Hanako laughed "I still expect respect in my favour," he said. The both nodded in agreement before saying they shall call me whatever I wish to be referred to as. "Don't know why he invited you down here, 'little fox'" Mr tschuchigamori said mockingly, looking at Yako. "Why don't you mind your own business, spider-legs!" She retorted angrily. They continued to bicker, they really didn't seem to get along. "Come on now, you are embarrassing me," Hanako said playfully, laughing. Suddenly his mood changed and he went very serious, he brought out a chef's knife and (I hoped) mock threatened Yako and Mr Tschuchigamori "So play nice" they both instantly agreed and Yako jumped off Mr Tschuchigamori's shoulder to avoid further conflict. "Are we done yet, Yanomi?" Hanako said looking at me, he had out his butchers knife away in his jacket, but knowing he had one kind of scared me. I heard that if you carried a weapon in the spirit life, it means you used it as a weapon when you were alive. Who did Hanako need to protect himself against? "Mr Tschuchigamori-Sensai?" I asked quietly "What are all these books for?" My old teacher looked around at the shelves and said "These books contain the records of everyone who has ever attended Kamome Academy. The white books represents someone who is still living, a black book represents someone who has already passed." I remembered the book I found earlier, a black one. I wonder who that person was...

"There is another type of book: a red one. And all I can tell you about that is never to open it" he laughed. I thought for a moment. "These...these books? They tell the future aswell?" I looked him in the eyes as he answered. "Yes. Yes they do, me and you are very similar, Yanomi. Similar, but not the same. I can read the future, whereas you have the ability to change it." Mr tschuchigamori looked over at Hanako, who was absent mindedly running his ghostly fingers along the spines of the books. "No.7? Maybe you should show Yanomi her boundary now" at the mention of his name, Hanako turned around and nodded. His mood had changed since he revealed his weapon. Maybe it was the look on my face when I saw it, maybe it was something deeper, but whatever it was it made him regret brining it out in the first place. We said our goodbyes to Yako and Mr Tschuchigamori and we left the boundary the same way we had entered. "Come, Yanomi, it is time you saw your boundary..."

(This is where things get spicy!! Sorry there are no pictures yet. I'm drawing my own and it's taking a while, I promise I will upload pictures when I can! I don't really want to use someone else's, and I feel Yanomi needs a specific look instead of the ordinary (H/C) hair and whatever coloured outfit. I'm going to be designing it tonight and I'll post whenever it's finished. Thanks for reading!!!)
