Fall With Me

Invasion CHAPTER 3

My body enters the hall.

I gulp.

There is a lot more people here than I expected.

I feel Daniel put his hand in my shoulder that comforts me.

I'm unsure on what to do so I take a seat beside a table with people surrounding it.

Up beat music starts to play so I ask Daniel to dance and he agrees.

I look over and see Gia dancing with a tall dark haired boy.

I decide to let it go as she can take care of herself.

I dance with Daniel trying to blend in as much as possible.

A couple minutes in a see what must be in a black hoddie walking beside the bleachers and leaving.

I frown at him.

Daniel seems to be worried at me but I soften my face and smile so he doesn't need to worry about me.

Later on I take a cup of something I have no idea what it is and I drink it only to scrunch up my face.

It tastes disgusting.

Daniel laughs at me and I swat at him.

"It's no funny! It tastes rotten!" I yell at him but I laugh at myself and he takes the cup off me.

"I'm gonna put this in the bin for you, alright?"

"Please" I tell him and giggle.

Oh no.

I'm alone now.

I spot Hunter in the crowd and think of how much of a bad idea this whole thing was.

A wave of relief goes over me as I see Daniel a meter away from me.

Daniel is now finally at my side trying to wonder what I'm thinking.

"You alright Azura?"

"Oh yeah I'm fine, uh just need to go to the bathroom" I lie.

I make my way to the bathroom and find that there is a bunch of plastic cups all over the sinks. "Disgusting"I say under my breath as as I wipe them off.

The cups clatter on the ground and I look up at myself in the mirror

Gosh.

I see myself with a few tear drops down my eyes.

What is wrong with me?

I get toilet paper then run it under the water and  wipe my tears including my makeup, although I leave a little bit of eyeliner on.

I dry my face and I'm about to bin the toilet paper when a girl walks in.

Ugh it's Katy.

She's so ignorant and annoying.

She falls over onto the ground and laughs.

She's obviously high.

"Oh who's that?" Her eyes are drowsy.

I realise I'm starting at her and I stop

"Oh what's that name uh...uh...Agura?"

She's not even speaking properly and probably won't remember this but I still correct her.

"It's Azura" I speak harshly.

I can't put up with this. Not now

I push past her and move out the door.

I'm going home.

I don't have anywhere to get home but I hope there's a bus or I'll just have to walk.

The air is cold and I wrap my arms around my self

It's really cold.

I can't see much but I can hear.

And I hear Daniel screaming.
