I'm not sure where I am going but I need to get out of there.Instead I go to my locker and write down notes for studying in chemistry as that's the only subject I'm instead in. I close my locker with my small notebook and pen and sit against it.
I sit out a bunch of stuff so I remember they key things of this topic.
"You've got to be kidding me." I say under my breath.
I hear footsteps coming from the end of the corridor and notice and unfamiliar face. I stand up at his presence and hide my notebook behind my back.
The boy looks around my age. He has dark ruffled hair, quiet tall and is wearing a plain grey shirt and black jeans.
When he reaches me he stops and frowns at me. I just stare at him blankly.
Who are you?" He asks.
"Who are you?" I relate his words shifting on the balls of my feet.
The boy scoffs and looks down.
"What'd you got there?" He says trying to look behind me back.
"Just some notes." I tell him pushing them further behind my back.
The boy study's my face.
"What are you doing out here?" He finally asks.
"I needed space, and no it's none of your business." I speak harshly.
"Jeez someone has an attitude." Replies the boy.
"Ugh can you just go?" I ask pointing to the end of the hall.
"Okay fine clam down." He walks down a metre and stops again. Ugh.
"What's your name again?" He turns his head.
"If you I answer you will you go?" I plea.
"Yep." He answers.
"Fine is Azura." I exhale and sit back down against my locker. I notice he is still got his eyes glued at me.
"We'll go on, shoo." I say gesturing my hands. And he leaves.
When the bells rings I have English and Languages and it makes sense how my. Mother made me take Latin. I'm actually quite good at it which I'm happy about.
When school ends I walk out with Gia searching for my phone in my bag but it seems to have vanished
"Gosh sorry Gia, i think I left my phone in Languages." I tell her annoyed.
"That's fine I'll wait out here for you." He kindly says.
"Oh no it's fine I'll catch up." I announce and run back to Languages.
Without hesitation I run in and can't find my phone anywhere.
"Ugh" I say to myself.
"Looking for this?" His cracky voice lifts into my ears.
I swivel around to see a Mr Stealth siting on my language teachers desk. He is holding onto the tip of my phone swinging it.
I try really hard to swallow the lump in through the but it seems impossible.
"Give me b-back my phone." Is all I manage to say.
"Oh I'll gladly give it back." He says jumping off the desk making his way towards me.
I can feel my whole body shaking. I'm terrified of what may happen next.
"Stay back!" I say with an uneasy voice.
But he's doesn't.
I back away from him horrified by his movements.
"Just kill me already." I blurt out.
"Kill you?" He laughs. "Now why would I want to do that." He smiles.
"Dont sorry I won't touch your friends and family, under one condition."
I nod slowly unsure of what I am doing and what to do.
"You tell your little coven to back off." He says firmly.
I feel my body against the wall and I shut my eyes tightly.
"Do you understand me!?" He yells at me.
"Yes." I say pathetically. Why am I so scared of him?
I can hear his breathing and he is close. Standing right in front of me.
"Katy was just a warning, she's lucky to be alive. Not for long though." He laughs.
"No!" I scream and him and grasp my fingers on his arms.
I'm surprised when a glowing red light appears and I see his face dropping to a pale grey. It looks like I draining his energy so I continue.
"You will not hurt any of my family." I say confidently.
He looks like he's dying so I make him say it himself.
"UNDERSTAND?" I scream at him.
"Y-yes." He says weakly and I let go of him.
"That was just a warning." I mock him and can't help but smile.
I quickly leave to the sound of him gasping.
I don't know when he will be full of energy again but I have to get home.
Wait. So if I drained his energy and magic. And my mother wasn't telling me about my powers then.
IM A SIPHONER? AND SHE KNEW? I'm suddenly so mad at her i want to crackle up inside and pop like popcorn.I race my way home as fast as I can to confront her. But this time with a hell lot of anger.
