I am getting ready to go out with Jake as I took a day off today to spend some time with him. I wear a simple black tee with a pair of black jeans, completing the look by throwing over a denim jacket with sneakers. I let my hair loose and grab my bag.

Jake is already waiting for me in the living room. I make my way towards him. As his back was towards me an idea pops into my head. I tip toe towards him as quietly as possible and stand right behind him. I rise on my toes so as to reach his ear and whisper a “Boo”. He jumps and turns around scared, looking like a deer caught in headlights. His look. Priceless. I laugh at his expense as he narrows his eyes at me, playfully, before he starts chuckling himself.
“Getting naughty aren't we, Miss Rain?”, he mocks throwing his right arm over my shoulders and pulling me close.
“Well, yes, Mr. Valtor. Damn right we are. It's my revenge for earlier. What were you thinking...”, I hit his shoulder before continuing, “... tickling me like that? You want me die due to asphyxiation?”
“Baby, right now I can think of another more pleasurable and sexier way to kill you due to asphyxiation...”, he mutters wiggling his eyebrows.
I roll my eyes at him. “Let's go. Before your inner serial killer jumps out and decides to kill me through asphyxia. Death by choking. Hmm... not my cup of tea. Or coffee.”
He just chuckles and leads us towards the door, his arm still resting around my shoulders keeping me close. I inhale his clear, manly scent mixed with his perfume that has a distinct spicy fragrance. I love me a good smelling man!!! I'm obsessed.
“Are you sniffing me?” Jake asks, amusement lacing in his voice.
Oops. Busted. Wasn't I being discreet? I thought I was!!!
“Yes. Because you smell sooooo good.” I shrug. What's the point in hiding when he already caught me sniffing. Besides what's wrong in giving a compliment.
In return, he buries his face in my hair and takes a sniff too. I chuckle. “You smell so good too. I want to bottle it up and take it with me when you're not with me.”
Stop Jake! You're going to make me melt!!
I blush and in reply peck his cheek in a quick, soft kiss. We head out together and I show him around the big city where I have been living for the last 4-5 years. We go to the mall first. I needed to buy some items and I wanted to buy something for him too. I just love giving gifts, no occasions required. I'm thinking of buying him a watch and get something engraved on it. ‘Jakie-boy’. Nah!! Looks like I'm personalizing a dog collar for my dog. I'll settle with just a simple watch then, stylish yet elegant.
I buy some clothes for myself. I model in front of him asking for his opinion to help me choose. He just states that I look good in everything so buy them all. I just roll my eyes at him and tell him, “Not everyone earns in millions, babe. I am not the CEO of my own accounting firm.” I roll my eyes at him as I walk back towards the racks and shelves and tried to put back some items. Key word being ‘tried’. Jake takes hold of my hand stopping me. I look back at him, raising a brow in question.
