5 hours after the incident, Tim informed the hospital that there was an incoming GSW. Uncle Andy had gotten permission as the family physician to do Selena's surgery. The surgery wasn't anything major, the bullet didn't hit anything but it was lodges in a muscle. Andy took out the bullet and saw no severe damage to the muscle. She was stable, Selena was then waiting in recovery. Tim stood in the doorway as he noticed four teens running up to him.

"Glad you made it." Tim said to them.

"You woke us up, there better not be a better reason to rush to the hospital to find out your best friend has been shot!" Leanne stated mad and groggy while rubbing her eyes.

"We were about to hit the hay for work tomorrow, but then we got your call. Our parents wouldn't let us drive." Rianne explained.

"So they called us. How is she?" Brandon asks pulling Leanne into his arms. Tim moved a bit to reveal Selena hooked up to multiple monitors, peacefully asleep.

"How long?" Rianne asks as Tommy wrapped his arms around her waist.

"She got out of surgery a few hours ago, I wanted to wait to see if anything changed before I called you." Tim answered.

"What happened?" Rianne asks. "Penguin." Tim answers.

They all gather around and watched her sleep for the next hour. Leanne and Rianne were asleep in their boyfriends arms as Tim was wide awake.

"You guys want anything?" Tim asks getting up.

"I'll do a coffee run, make sure the girls stay asleep, they were pretty freaked out the whole ride here." Tommy replies gently placing Rianne on the couch as he walked away.

"So, Tommy and Rianne, you and Leanne. When did that happen? How did I miss that?" Tim asks changing the subject.

"Me and Leanne happened after the Lake, she was afraid of what happened to Selena that she realized that life could be gone one day. She was afraid that she would never find the courage to tell me that she had liked me for a long time. Leanne told me, that its thanks to Selena for giving her that directors job at Karsen Industries helped her gain the confidence to tell me." Brandon explained.

"That's Selena, always helping others. Even if she's hurt she always put other's first." Tim said as he held back his tears, fearing the thought of Selena getting hurt again.

Tommy came back with coffee for them. After sipping for about 5 minutes, Selena started to stir. Tim put his coffee down and watched her.

Selena moaned as she lifted her hand up a bit, Tim rushed to her side and grabbed her hand. "You okay?" Tim asks.

"Next time there's a dance, I think I'll stay home." Selena said groggy. "I wouldn't blame you." Tommy and Brandon reply in sync.

"We were so worried, how could you not feel the gun shot?" Tommy asks. "Must have been the adrenaline, I'm not really sur..." Selena answered as she was cut off by Tim connecting his lips with hers.

Selena was surprised  at first but after 3 seconds she relaxed as she put her hands on his neck. Tim eased up fearing how much air she had.

"Well that's not awkward." Brandon said.

Tim raised his eyebrow as Selena giggled. "Oh please, like you wouldn't do the same thing to Leanne or Rianne with us here." Selena baited. Tommy and Brandon didn't see her plan as they maneuvered the girls and kissed them right in front of Selena and Tim. 

"I can't believe you baited them to do that." Tim said. "I'm glad you caught it, I still can't believe they fell for it." Selena replied.

Tim smiled as he kissed her again. After what felt like an eternity, which was actually just 30 seconds Uncle Andy came in and cleared his throat. Everyone broke apart, due to embarrassment.
