Tim and Selena woke up and found a delicious fruity breakfast waiting for them.

Selena sat down at the bar as Tim sat next to her. While enjoying her breakfast, Selena admired her ring. Tim smiled as he rubbed her back as he ate. Selena slightly blushing as she leaned onto his shoulder. They had finished their breakfast as they were joined by Dick and Damien.

"Hey, can we see the two of you in the cave?" Dick asks.

Selena arched her eyebrow as Tim gave a confused look.

"We just want to talk, we promise." Damien replied. Selena gripped Tim's hand as they went down to the Batcave. In the Batcave, stood Bruce and Jason talking.

"Oh Selena, good to see you doing better. How are you feeling today?" Bruce asks.

"Much better, still pissed about the whole thing, but things happen I guess." Selena answered sitting in the chair. Wrapping her arms around her chest noticing the boys standing around her.

"Selena, we gave you our word we wouldn't let anything happen to you." Bruce starts.
"Even though these recent events have not been asterous, but you're not alone." Dick finishes.

Selena looked up and found the four of them staring at her. She leaned forward as Damien then hugged her. Selena was stunned as she hugged him back. After 10 seconds they let go to see everyone totally shocked. Damien let go as Selena got up and then hugged Tim. 

"I know this sounds like a broken record, but do you know if you want to join our team?" Bruce asks.

Selena looked as she gave a look full of disappointment to them as she hung her head into Tim's chest.

"Your offer.. thanks.." Selena starts but was cut off by Jason celebrating.

"Great!! So how exactly do you morph? Does it hurt? Have you ever bitten anyone? Do you clean your fangs or does the blood disappear with it when you retract..." Jason rambled on and on till Selena stopped him.

"You didn't let me finish. Thanks, but.. not thanks." Selena interrupted him.

Everyone was stunned but didn't show it as she held her ground.

"I appreciate everything you've done for me, but it would be best if I wasn't involved with your team. It feels nice knowing there's people out there in this world who actually want to be around me, even when they know my secret. But this is my secret, my identity. . I will be there if you guys need me and you can call me if you need help. I don't kill but I do torture." 

Selena paused to hand slap Jason with enjoyment, as she continued.

"I know you guys will keep my secret as I will keep yours until my last breath. But I need to do things my way. Even if it means working alone. I know you understand that better than anyone, but it's something that I have to do. I'm sorry. I need to head back to Karsen Manor and get my school clothes. Then see how Leanne and Rianne have been doing in the company." Selena finishes as she tried to walk off but was cut off by Dick and Damien.

"Selena, you don't have to do this alone, trust me when I say this; sometimes it's good to have allies." Dick replied.

"I'm not saying I won't help you guys if you call, I'm just saying that I can't be apart of a team-

at least, not yet." Selena says catching their attention.

"It's taken a lot of my courage to admit my secret to anyone. Not even my own friends know. I don't care if I die out there, I will never let them find out unless absolutely necessary. Now, I understand that you all have been a team for a long time, but I have to get used to the idea of being on a team. I already lost my parents, I won't lose my uncle. Not to that sneaky conniving bastard who shares my blood. If I find him, I will give him a reason to fear my name." Selena replies walking out past the Batmobile.
