My Light Within Her Dark [T. Drake]

 Selena watched Tim get into his truck and drive off.

She made her way down to her Coven and found Uncle Andy at the computer with camera's zooming in.

"Poison Ivy spotted at the abandoned chemical plant, what's your plan?" Andy asks.

"You know how I roll, see ya." Selena said  grabbing her utility belt and morphed into a wolf.

"Be careful." Echo said into the comm.

"Always, gotta go, the winds get loud when I run." Nighthowler replied tuning him out as she morphed to Wolf Mode and ran as fast as she could.

When NH got to the Chemical Plant she morphed back to Human Mode and snuck inside to find Ivy wrapping her vines around barrels of chemicals.

She was then joined by Red Robin. They watched Poison Ivy move more barrels. They snuck to the roof and found a window open. They both jumped in, and jumped her.

"Stop right there, Ivy!" Red Robin shouted.

"Your rein of terror is over." Nighthowler shouts after.

"Red Robin? How many side kicks does the Big Bad Bat have anyways?" Ivy asks insulting them.

"Protégé!" They say in sync.

"I don't work for Batman, but I'd be more than happy to kick you ass anyway." NH replied.

"You think just because your wearing a suit makes you a hero?" Ivy asked.

"It doesn't just take a suit, it takes will, strength, and a badass attitude. Lucky for you, I got all three." Nighthowler answered getting into her stance.

"You think you can take me?" Ivy asks cocky.

"You get the chemicals, I'll keep her busy." NH said.

Red used his grappling gun to take himself over to the barrels of chemicals. Ivy and NH started to fight.

Ivy threw her arms up and launched vines at NH. But NH used her agility to backflip out of the way. Punches and kicks were thrown as NH could barely land a punch on Ivy. NH then pounced on Ivy, she was finally pinned.

"Looks like you're going to jail." NH said.

"I don't think so, take this little wolfie." Ivy said exhaling a purple powder right into Nighthowler's face.

Red Robin came back and saw Nighthowler coughing at the powder. He threw a knock out gas ball at Ivy and knocked her out. Then when Ivy was down and out he cuffed her and went right for NH.

"Nighthowler? You alright? What happened?" RR asks.

Nighthowler slowly lifted her head and turned to Red Robin, he saw that her eyes were red underneath her domino mask.

"Nighthowler? What's going on?" RR asks. Before she could answer, she pounced on him. He puts his legs on her stomach and launches her up into the air. She flipped herself back to the ground and lands on all fours. Red Robin tried to reach her but she pushed herself off to launch an attack at him. He dodged her claws as he grabbed her wrists and held her in place.

"I don't want to fight you. Please come back to me." Red Robin said as he quickly used one hand to pull down the face mask and he plants a kiss.

Nighthowler was shocked but kept trying to pull away. But instead RR held his grip as she started to relax into it. When she started to calm down even more she began to stutter.

"What.. the.. hell.. was that...?" NH asks rubbing the back of her neck.

"Your alright. You got hit with Poison Ivy's chemical dust but your back now." Red Robin answered.

"How did you know a kiss would work?" Nighthowler asks.

"I just had faith... I just want to you know that even if I don't know who you are underneath the mask. I trust you, Nighthowler." Red Robin answered pulling her into a hug and easing up to see her face.

Before he knew it he thought he began to see Selena in NH's place. But blinking back to reality he kept his cool.

"Thanks, for saving me." Nighthowler said to him.

RR tried to kiss her again, to make sure his instincts were true, but then her hand stopped him. She gently pushed him back as he was confused.

"I really think your awesome at what you do, but you really don't know who I am underneath my mask and it might be better if you didn't find out. I trust you too Little Red, but I'm sorry." Nighthowler replies.

"Sorry for what?" RR asks.

"I'm in love with someone else." Nighthowler managed to say as she was pulled away from him and thrown across the room and hit the column. Red Robin was shocked.

"Nighthowler!" RR shouts as he backflipped back and saw Bane standing there.

Bane stood ready to attack her as Red Robin was seriously pissed.

"Get away from her you bastard!" Red Robin shouted getting his attention. Before Bane could attack again, Nightwing and Batman burst through the doors and went right for him.

"We've got Bane, you get Wolfie." Nightwing said punching and kicking.

RR rushed over to Nighthowler and saw that she landed flat on the ground, when her turned her over he saw something he never thought he'd see. Her face mask was torn and her domino mask was off when she hit the column. He was frozen as the reality hit him when he saw her face.

About 2 minutes later Batman was cuffing Bane with Ivy as Nightwing walked over to Red Robin.

"Hey, Bane is down and ready to be taken to Arkham with Ivy. How's Wolfie?" Nightwing asks.

RR was still in shock as he then blinked when he saw Nightwing standing next to him.

"Hey, everything alright?" NW asks.

"Look." RR said pointing to NH. Nightwing walked over to the opposite of RR's position. He then saw that her mask was off and her face mask was torn. They were both in shock when they saw something they didn't expect.

Selena... was laying in her Nighthowler costume on the ground unconscious. 
Red Robin gently moved her head to his lap as he felt her breathing. He exhaled with relief as Batman was walking over to them.

"What happened? Is Nighthowler alright?" Batman asks.

"She's fine, it's just..." Nightwing starts as he then looked at RR and saw a concerned look on his face.

Batman kneeled down and then knew what was going on with them, he saw Nighthowler without her mask.

"She's alive, but we need to take her back to the cave, in case the chemical's are still in her system." Batman said standing up.

Nightwing and Red Robin then stood up as Nighthowler was now being carried bridal style in RR's arms. They all snuck away as the cops came.

Sirens blazed as RR couldn't stop thinking about Selena.

"Selena... you're Nighthowler? Is this the secret you were talking about? Is this why you were afraid of anyone getting close to anyone? I think I know why you couldn't tell me, I just hope you don't hate me when you wake up. Selena, please remember; that no matter what mask we wear, what role we play... no matter how scared you are of the wolf, I will always love you." Tim thought as he place Selena in the Batmobile passenger side and got on his bike and rode next to the Batmobile, Nightwing drove his bike on the other side.

When they made it back to the back to the Batcave, Batman went to work on an antidote.

Sorry if the chapter is short, I got no excuse. Sorry it took so long, I am writing multiple books at once so I don't get bored. Don't worry I will do my best to keep at this one, but I am starting summer school so it will definitely be getting a little crazy.
