Chapter 3

Like i said we don't see each other face to face that often. Later that summer after dorney park I left for Virginia and didn't get back home until august 20th. My birthday was 8 days away. During my time in Virginia me and Alex FaceTimed and play games on our phone since I didn't bring my switch with me. We played kudos club and space teams. (Definitely recommend).
It was now a few minutes before my birthday and once it hit midnight I got a bunch of birthday messages. But none from Alex. Huh I wonder why he didn't text me. Whatever I'm going to sleep.
The next morning I woke up to even more birthday messages but only one caught my eye. It was from Alex and it was sent at 7:04 Am. The time I was born. Aww he woke up at 7 am just for me. Wait ew Kat no he's just being a good friend... even tho this is the first time he's ever done this. Whatever. I texted him thanks. He then said no problem hope you enjoy your day. And I hope your ready for tomorrow. Tomorrow what's tomorrow. Huh? Alex then said that his mom was coming to pick me up later tomorrow for a surprise.
The surprise was a painting class that I've always wanted to go to. (It was rally fun if you want I can add the painting here.)
After the class we went of to eat lunch. (His mom and stepdad too) during the dinner he kept texting me even though we sat right next to each other and his mom caught on and asked what we were doing that and if it was because we had a secret to hide or something. And Alex began to say yeah we are hiding our secret relationship from you mom. Me and Kat are totally in love. What did he just say... in love... I- Im not in love with him. All I heard was gasps. Did I say that out loud? Haha Kat if you could only see your face. Im joking you idiot. His mom just turned to me and said oh honey it's ok. And winked at me. Did she just... wink at me? What the hell.
After we ate lunch we headed back to Alex's house. Both me and Alex went upstairs to his room to play video games. We played Mario kart and super smash bros.
After that we then played super Mario 3d world
What the hell Alex why did you kill your self and leave me all alone to kill bowser I told him. He started to laugh because I wanted to see if you weren't a total loser and could beat it by yourself. He's a bitch. Your a bitch. I ended up losing. No surprise there he said. I then said whatever you know I suck at video games I whined. He then gave me a pat on the head and said yeah yeah but you still did good even tho you lost. Such a jerk. Your a jerk. He then responded yeah but I'm your jerk. Why does he keep making it seem as if we are in a relationship. Ugh.

2 weeks later it was finally his birthday.
I texted him happy birthday at 12 am telling him to have a nice day and that I'll see him later for his birthday dinner. He then responded with thanks but you couldn't even wait for 6:04 to tell me happy birthday like I did for you. 🥲. I then responded with a whatever and I'm not a weirdo like you
Fast forward to his birthday dinner. I was getting ready to go when his mom texted me to go downstairs. I got in the front seat of the car and we went to pick up his cake. It was a red velvet cake (I hate red velvet). His mom went out to get it and when she got back she handed me the cake saying here hold on to your husbands cake for me would you. Did she just say husband. Yeah ok I said as much face started to get heated and his mom then looked over to me and laughed.
(side note. Me and Alex always talk about being married one day and what we are gonna do together in the future ever since we were little)
The birthday dinner begins and his older brother walks in and greets everyone. He looked to his brother and said huh see you brought your wife today huh? Alex said yeah with a laugh and punch his brothers arm. This whole wife thing needs to stop before I have a heart attack from my built up anxiety. We all eat food and it's time for the cake. The cake I dislike. I was offered a plate and was gonna refuse it when Alex cut me off by saying come on Kat please eat the cake for me. It's my birthday after all. It'll make me happy. I rolled my eyes and took a bite of the cake. He smiled and patted my head. What am I gonna do with this boy.
