Chapter 10

Hey besties I hope you enjoy this chapter 😙.

Yesterday I went over to his house for a bbq and it was interesting...
It was the first time we saw each other since Covid hit and the first time seeing him after telling him I liked him.
When I got there he ran right up to be and poked me asking if I was real... (yeah he's weird)
We played Mario kart, super Mario 3d world, smash bros, my hero's justice 2, etc...
We talked about random shit like always.
He went on a trip to Puerto Rico 2 weeks ago and bought me a bracelet so that was nice I get.
He also kept giving slight compliments. My nail polish color is red and he was like your nails are really pretty I like them because it's his favorite color. And I swear I didn't do that on purpose...
He also kept singing a line from "in the heights" the club.
"Bartender!
Let me get an amaretto sour for this ghetto flower!
How are you so pretty?"

Yeah anyways...
We were all drinking trulys throughout the night and I got a little tipsy/drunk. And I couldn't stop laughing and I was also crying at the same time. I was trying to eat my food and he kept making me laugh and I was getting upset because I didn't want to choke. And he was making fun of me for it. When I tried to drink my water he said something really funny I ended up spitting it out All over myself... it was embarrassing.
After I ate I laid down on the floor and he went next to me and was touching my hair. And was just looking at me. That got my flustered I sat right back up and grabbed my phone.
Later he wanted to play a game that I didn't like and I kept saying no he came around me and wrapped his arms around my back/neck/chest (idk what word to use) and put his chin in my neck and begged me to play. It was very very cute and I gave in and he like kissed my head and said thank you.
That made me even more flustered I was just sitting there hoping I wasn't red faced.
He also grabbed my hand at some point in the night and held it for a solid 1-2 minutes.
His mom came in at one point to check on us and he was like mom she's a character. Very very interesting character and she just laughed and left.
We shared a few glances at each other which were very embarrassing for me... I don't know I couldn't look at him the whole night I was too nervous.

Fast forward to next week...
My cousin had a graduation going away party and everyone came including him. We talked here and there I was more focused on my cousins over him. But when they left my full attention went to him. My cousin had a lot of friends and there were a lot of girls so I teased my cousin asking which one is his girlfriend and he said none. Then Alex pops in and said "if you did have one I'd ask when you started dating. Let's say you said 2 months I'd say me and Kat have been going out for 2 months and a day." Then my mom also pops in and said "what are you talking about you guys are almost 17 years." Which confused me at first then my sister also popped in and said "yeah you both are in a arranged marriage". Then my mom said "yup because your sister and Alex brother failed us you guys are my and Alex's moms hope". I just sat there in shock and silence. I knew all about me and Alex moms and their wishes of their children getting together but never has she ever just said it like that. Alex was laughing the whole time at my reaction to my mom.

I was on the phone with him all of last night and it was fun. Talked random bs like always. We are going to the beach Friday so I'll update after.
