"Not exactly...We're trying to get her out of the building, and the Berserker is blind..." I corrected Scarlett.

"Alright-" Scarlett was interrupted by the Berserker. The Berserker took us by surprise, it crashed through the door frame and was running towards Scarlett. Scarlett immediately jumped out of the way. It smashed into two pillars on the right-hand side. A piece of concrete slashed against her arm, the piece of foundation came from the discarded pillars.

She hollered in pain, grabbing the Berserker's attention.

It slowly strode over to her. She widened her eyes and held pressure on the massive cut on her arm.

I knew this would be it for her if I don't do something! Everyone was hesitant on what to do. I started to fire off some shots, I his behind a pillar. The rounds deflected off of the Berserker. It's attention followed over to me. It let out aloud thunderous shreak and charged forward to where I was. Breanne and Cyclone lifted Scarlett onto her feet and pulled her behind one of the twelve remaining pillars.

"That's right bitch, follow the sound." I mumbled, as the Berserker collided against the stone wall. That impact was enough to shake the the whole place.

"Are you sure she isn't crazy?!" Baird questioned Marcus.

"Shut up and run." Marcus replied to Baird. The group ran out of the room and got a head start. I dodged when it charged. It charged through two more pillars, making the foundation of the tomb shake. I shield myself from the glass that shattered from the glass ceiling. I started to run after the group, shooting a couple more rounds at it. I had six rounds left, enough to get her out of the building.

I followed the group through one of the two doorways that lead into a garden area.

I watched as Scarlett held pressure on her arm with a piece of cloth, she stood next to the final doorway to the courtyard. The doorway was crumbled and barricaded with stone. The Berserker must of got there before us. I looked behind me, I didn't see where the Berserker went. The place we stood in looked like an old garden, but in doors, Everything was dead, the fountain didn't run, dust everywhere and dirt. A sprinkler pipe on the wall, a barricaded door across the room where Scarlett and the rest stood. The rest of the group was spread out, behind me was two separate doors.

I could hear the deep pants of the creature. But I must of out ran her, my stomach twisted in frustration. Don't tell me I out ran it and I have to go back?!

"Yo, Ronin! Do you have things under control yet?" Cole questioned. I scratched the back of my neck and nodded.

"I was wondering the same thing and what are we going to do when the doors are barricaded?! There isn't another way out of this place besides getting ambushed and slaughtered by the Locust! Do you have a plan or not?" Scarlett questioned, checking her Lancer's clip.

"I have it under control-"

"Doesn't look like it." Marcus grumbled.

"Hey, where were you two when I asked you two to stay next to me and help? I didn't say for all of us to run." I snapped at Marcus.

"Come on, lets give her a chance-" Breanne was interrupted by Scarlett.

"This seems like a goose chase, are we really going to get out of here or not? Just admit this plan isn't going to work." Scarlett said with a frustrated tone. I could understand how she felt. She never trusted me from the start, but that doesn't mean I'll jump at her and say whatever is on my mind. It wasn't that simple to begin with. She nearly got killed by a Berserker! That is enough to make anyone pissed. She wasn't in the best of condition, either.
