We continued on through the streets, the wind was decent, just a simple breeze. The sun was starting to depart from the horizon, behind a vibrant orange and gold. Simply, no Locust have shown up yet. This made all of our days much easier, the pace we were travelling at I could tell everyone was exhausted. Was this what Delta expected out of their soldiers? It was around seven or so, I couldn't exactly say. The scarf that was wrapped around Scarlett's arm, it was drenched in a dark crimson. Both Breanne and Scarlett needed immediate medical attention, but... What happen to Breanne's medical pack?

"Hey, I hate to break it to you Breanne, considering you have enough on your plate. But what happen to your pack?" I questioned Breanne, catching up to Breanne and Marcas.

"I dropped it when we were getting ambushed. I couldn't go back for it, but I regret it..." Breanne says with a voice of guilt. I furrowed my brows, then the corner of my lip arched up.

That arch formed into a Cheshire smile, "Don't worry, Breanne. We'll get Scarlett and you help."

"Damn rights we will, baby." Cole said enthusiastically.

"Since when did you become considerate on this trip?" Scarlett joked.

"A bit back, I'd say. I learned my place in the group."

"And that would be?" Scarlett questioned with a cocky grin.

"A gear."

"Why a gear? You're only Human, Ronin." Scarlett questioned.

"If a machine is missing one gear, then it cannot function correctly. We're all a team, gears to that one system. If one of us gets popped off, we have to continue. But I know we wont be as strong, missing that one gear." I explained, I didn't even think of how to explain my thoughts. That came out more poetic then expected.

"That's a beautiful way to look at it." Breanne complimented. Scarlett pulled her COG tags out and started to examine them.

I bit my lip remembering we've lost one already. But she isn't dead, but what did Mother have in plan for Elizabeth. Did Ramm explain something different then expected to her? Nope, she wouldn't believe him over I.

"It's my fault that Elizabeth was captured." I admitted, stopping in my tracks. My head hung low, I truely felt that in my heart. After the situation with Silent-Blade, I felt guilt swarm my heart. It was unbearable.

"What? Ronin, none of this was your fault. There wasn't anything you could of done to call them off. I'm meaning, to call off the ambush. It was bad timing, you did everything we've asked for, or would need. You've demonstrated many things in this group, even managing to get the Berserker out of the building." Cyclone complimented me.

"That's right." Dom commented.

"I don't know why, but that quote Ronin said is stuck in my head. Having Cogs for tags around my neck makes things more peaceful." Scarlett admitted with a simple chuckle.

"I guess I can add more to that quote." I teased Scarlett, making her shake her head, holding back a laugh.

"Ronin, we should get moving, it's going to be dark pretty soon." Marcus suggested to the group, I looked up to the sky and noticed how the colours were shadowed in a dark purple. The wind was crisp. We made a turn into an alley way that led us into another street.
