A/note: Here's a graphic I made for my apply-fic! What do you think? I just randomly made it when I was bored XD. Also I just reached 500 reads! Thank you all so much and thank you so much for the 102 votes. Alright, enjoy reading!

"Shit, how much further? Man, my calves are scorching! Never mind! It's the hunger talking more than a small ache." Cole exclaimed.

"I've told you before, Cole. Just a bit further, just trust me and the plan" Dom replied with a confident voice.

"Plan? What plan? You're just talking shit."

I watched behind Baird and Dom as we continued to walk through the empty streets. Their arguing was priceless, Marcus, Scarlett, and Breanne stood at the back. Ensuring her that we wouldn't rush Breanne. Scarlett's arm wasn't looking too good either. Something sank inside my chest, I didn't enjoy visulaising that my plan got them hurt.

Dom smirked "Plan? Just wait and see asshole." Dom fired back with a casual tone. I was impressed he was able to keep his cool.

Dom walked ahead of Baird and next to Cylone and Cole. Cyclone seemed pretty reserved when it came down to talking. And what scared me was Silent-Blade hasn't said a word this whole trip. And apart of being on a team is communication and strategy. Which one was missing when it came down to small talk or a casual conversation. I started to think about Elizabeth and how Raam kidnapped her. He's taking her to the Queen, known as my Mother.

I hope she'll cooperate with her otherwise she's not going to see sunlight and only torches for a seriously long time.

We passed under a small Italian restaurant. I took a moment and leaned against the wall. I started to change the clip, but then it slipped out from my hand, I couldn't hold both at the same time. I found it frustrating to be this way.

Baird picked up the clip and approached me.

"Here, pass the gun over." He said in a casual voice, I couldn't tell if he was frustrated or not. I hesitantly passed him the gun. He passed me the empty clip and loaded the full magazine into the hand gun.

He passed it to me and I turned the safety off.

"Uh, thanks." I commented.

"Not a problem. It's nice to see someone with gratitude, unlike everyone else here." Baird said the last half of the sentence purposely out loud. I smirked when everyone gave him a look.

"I guess it's just rare to get it since we're focusing only on the mission and survival." I replied, striking a decent conversation This must of been the longest conversation I've had without them doubting me, and having the hesitation.

"That's true, I didn't mean anything from earlier, I didn't realise it was that personal." Baird chuckled.

"All is forgiven, I am comfortable with talking about it, if it means only a couple of questions, just not deep questions." I replied to Baird, avoiding the crack along the road. The road was caved into the ground. Dom tossed a rock and watched as it dissapeared into the planets soil or the hole.

"Alright, was it a Locust that did that to your arm or an accident?" He questioned. I swallowed thickly.

"It was neither." I answered, Baird's expression changed to a serious one.

"Then, what species?" He questioned. I was grateful he watched what he was about to say. Sometimes things become too sensitive and I am unable to speak for a while until I'm back down to reality.

"Human, specifically man." I answered, a deep pit formed into my gut, as my stomach twisted.

"Now that's crossing the line, between the laws that separate us Humans from the Locust and other species. On the brighter side...He's probably dead, or turned into a Locust." Baird said trying to brighten the sour atmosphere between us. I still had a bitter feeling.
