This is a longer version of the original, and has a better reason for her leaving as it is more on the development of both of the characters.
Hopefully you like this better!

It was a Saturday afternoon. Nathalie was finishing off the schedule for Adrian and Gabriel's month.  She was feeling ill too because although Gabriel had fixed the peacock miraculous, the miraculous' side effects still hadn't worn off. She looked up at her boss, which was focused on drawing a new design for Jagged stones' new concert, and seemed very frustrated. Probably can't think of any ideas. She thought. "Nathalie." He said with a concerned look on his face. "Is this alright?"  "Yes Sir, it looks amazing," She replied. He was getting more unsure since his last plan as hawk moth, so he had been asking for her opinion. To be honest, Gabriel's plans weren't working, and he always had a moment of frustration afterward. She always dread seeing him like this, She just wanted to see him happy. Maybe she should quit this job, it's too much for her sometimes.
"Sir, maybe you should spend some time with your son, he definitely would love to see you at a time like this."
"Nathalie, he is my son, I know what is best for him." He replied
"But Sir, he is just a child, he needs his father. She argued
"Nathalie, don't. You are not his mother " He warned
"Gabriel, I may not be his mother, but I do know this. He loves you and wishes more then anything to spend time with you." She replied
He stopped, he had realised how she had never talked to him those way, and how she is kind of right. But it was wrong how she was talking about this when he warned her.
"Nathalie I don't want to talk about this! He is fine and he doesn't need you to tell me how to be his father! Understood?"
She had finally had enough of this. She knew he didn't know what was best for his son, he knew that he should care about his son more often then he should.
"Leave this room please."
she loved him. She knew this was what was best, so She simply nodded and walked out of the door.
Whilst her tears on her face were dropping on her face,
it hit her.
He doesn't care.
She was the one who did everything for his happiness, everything for his safety and everything for her.
He only cares about her when she was about to pass out or have a dizzy spell.
or if she's the one used for bargaining against him.
She had never felt so used in her entire life.
She needed to leave. It was for her happiness this time, not his.

She walked out of the room to start typing up a letter and an reassume for her new job. She started to feel uneasy like usual, but she reassures herself "it's fine, I'm fine."
When I she finishes, she prints out her resume and the letter she quickly writes and leaves the letter on his desk along with the peacock miraculous. She feels like this can't be right,  Nathalie Sancour, the person who is in love with her boss and does anything for his happiness; quitting her job. Why did this not feel as intended? She was supposed to be someone who was heartless, someone who didn't care about things like this. Maybe it's just me telling myself I need a break. this is something I need to do.
They'll be fine, he doesn't seem to need me anyway.

BONUS:

Dear Gabriel

I can't keep doing this anymore and this is why I am leaving. I can't stand looking at your upset face every single day after you have failed again and again as you try and steal those stupid jewels. I also just cant stand that feeling anymore that i have been used and only been by your side just because you need me to revive your wife. The feeling on only being the pawn in your battle between your enemies. I tried to make this work, I  tried focusing on us becoming good friends and us becoming partners without any distractions. But, as I write this I realise that I have just been in the way of your success and I have just been more pain towards you. When I leave, hopefully you can finally be happy again and not have any useless distractions in your way as you finally achieve your goal. I really hope you find another assistant that doesn't fail you like I do and I sincerely wish you the best and I will miss seeing you and adrien every morning.

Please do me a favour and say goodbye to him for me.

Your (former) assistant ,

Nathalie
