Chapter 2: Dissapeared again?

Chapter 2 is here~ I really like the way I designed the cover effects ^_^ anyway I don't own cardfight vangaurd so let the chapter start.

The brunette slowly got out of his bed after he turned off his alarm, it was the weekend, the day that Aichi almost always visited card capital until recently.

Kai swiftly cooked himself a meal of scrambled eggs before changing his clothes and heading out the door. Today, he was intent on confronting the blue haired boy about his odd behaviour.

As the brunette headed towards the usual card shop, he was surprised that Miwa hadn't shown up to annoy him like he usually did, though he didn't dislike the blond, just sometimes he needed a break from him.

"Oh what brings you here?"

A lavender haired girl behind the counter of card capital ashes as the brunette entered the shop.

"Nothing... I was just looking for something..."

The brunette replied as he scanned the shop with his jade eyes, slightly annoyed that once again, Aichi wasn't here on a weekend.

"Whatever..."

Misaki sighed as she went back to reading a book, the brunette left the shop for there was no reason for him to stay there.

Kai decided that the park would be the next place for him to look, he used to often find the blue haired boy watching the water in the pond.

As the brunette made his way to the park, he couldn't help himself from scanning the crowds, just in case he might accidentally pass the very boy he was looking for.

As the brunette reached the park, he headed towards the pond to see if Aichi was there, once again, the boy was nowhere to be seen. The brunette felt annoyed when he realized that he actually knew very little about the small boy.

Kai didn't want to give up searching for the boy, however he also knew that searching blindly for him probably wouldn't be very successful. But, that was the only option the brunette currently had of he were to confront Aichi that day.

The brunette suddenly shook his head as he realized that nothing but the blue haired boy had been on his mind as of late.

He wondered why he actually cared if Aichi had lied or not, it wasn't his business anyway yet he had been so intent to confront him.

A flash of blue suddenly caught the brunette's attention from the other side of the street, he ran closer to see if it was actually the small boy he was looking for.

The brunette was relieved when his sight proved to be right, however a small bandage wrapped around the boy's arm quickly caught his attention. It hadn't been present the other day and it wasn't on the same arm that had been 'injured due to sleeping the wrong way on it'.

Kai also noticed that Aichi seemed to be looking around him often and he kept having to hide every time the boy turned around. He wasn't sure if the smaller boy knew he was being followed of not but he didn't think so.

"What's up with your jumpiness Aichi?..."

The brunette whispered softly to himself under his breath, he then stopped in his tracks.

He was seriously confused as to why he was going through all the trouble of tailing the boy, but he was more confused as to why he felt so uneasy.

The brunette looked up to see that Aichi had started running in a full out sprint, forcing him to also run if he were to continue following him.

A soft yelp of pain came from around the corner that the smaller boy had turned into, the brunette quickened his pace, but as he turned the very same corner, the blue haired boy had once again disappeared.

Kai looked around, confused as to how the younger teen kept disappearing so quickly and easily. There didn't seem to be any crevices where the boy could have hidden in either.

The brunette sighed, he guessed that the simple idea of tracking the younger boy was going to be more complicated than he thought.

However, Kai knew that if he couldn't speak to the person, then he could always try asking the boy's younger sister.

The brunette kicked a can before heading back to card capital, he knew that sometimes Aichi's little sister visited with her friend.

The brunette sighed as he spotted his usual card shop, Misaki raised a brow but said nothing as she watched the brunette enter the store the second time that day.

Jade eyes once again scanned the store, however this time for the peach haired girl, thankfully he spotted her but she was in the middle of a cardfight with her friend.

"Aww Kai, just because Aichi shot you down you're going to try going after his sis?"

Miwa whispered as he came up behind the brunette. Kai shot him a colder glare than usual causing the blond to recoil slightly.

"I have no idea what you're talking about."

The blond shook his head sadly before sighing at the brunette's words.

"Man..... You're really clueless"

"About what?"

Kai asked, he didn't think he was clueless of anything besides the disappearances of the blue haired boy, and wondered if the blond knew anything.

"About your feelings"

"Tch whatever"

The brunette was somewhat disappointed that the blond was talking about nonsense.

"Anyway doesn't something seem off about Aichi?"

The brunette asked, wondering if his annoying yet still reliable friend had noticed anything. Miwa thought for a second before shaking his head.

"Nah, he seems like he's still his shy and happy self"

The blond replied with a smile at the brunette's sudden open interest of Aichi.

"I see....."

The brunette sighed, he glanced over towards Emi to see that she had finished her cardfight with her friend. He felt really awkward as he walked up to the girl, he hadn't talked to her much however he at least knew that Emi and Aichi were close.

"Emi, have you seen Aichi?"

The brunette asked, the peach haired girl narrowed her blue eyes as she thought for a bit.

"No, I've actually only seen him when he's at home recently"

The peach haired girl replied, the brunette frowned that not even the blue haired boy's own family knew where he was going as of late.

"Oh well when you see him, tell him that I'd like to talk to him"

Emi gave the brunette a confused look before nodding at his request.

"Sure, I guess I can do that..."

Me: That's the end of the chapter

Kai: where's Aichi?

Me: who knows ~~~ ^_^

Kai: don't joke

Me: I'm not telling~

Kai: .....

Me: ^-^ hehe .... Anyway hope ya enjoyed the chapter~
