Chapter 7: Surprise

Chapter 7 is here~ I don't own cardfight vangaurd at all ~ Bushiroad does which is very unfortunate... Anyway let the chapter start!

After a while the brunette was shaken from his thoughts by the growling of his stomach. With a sigh, the brunette got up from the couch and walked towards the kitchen so that he could fix himself a meal.

As he was stirring slices of chicken in a frying pan the brunette accidentally let his mind wander over towards thoughts of the blue haired boy. Distracted, the brunette accidentally grazed the burning pan with his hand, causing him to let out a soft hiss in pain.

The brunette narrowed his eyes at the slight burn as he turned off the stove and ran his hand carefully under cold water. Slightly mad that he had allowed himself to get distracted while he was cooking for himself.

After the brunette took care of his hand, he proceeded to eat because the burn was extremely minor. Kai sighed as he finished his simple and not really nutritious meal.

He looked at the clock, only to be annoyed that there was still plenty of time before the usual time he fell asleep. He knew that if he fell asleep early he would wake up too early and the next day would most likely drag on.

Kai then decided to take a walk outside to enjoy the fresh air, hoping that it would clear his head. With that, the brunette headed outside after placing on his shoes.

The thought of running into Aichi crossed over the brunette's mind as he locked the door. He wasn't too sure if that would please him or not. Though, he had already decided that he would go against the younger boy's wishes anyway.

As he walked along the streets, the light of the moon was greatly appreciated, illuminating the places where the street lights didn't quite reach.

He didn't know why, but the brunette for some reason felt as if he was being pulled where he was going, the destination was unknown to him as he walked.

He managed to trip slightly after he had turned a corner, Kai looked back to scowl but he swiftly became silent as his jades rested upon Aichi. For some reason the boy had been laying on the ground.

"Aichi?"

The brunette asked as he knelt down and nudged the boy, he felt warmth and a strong pulse so that he knew that the boy was at least not in danger.

When the blue haired boy didn't awaken, the brunette carefully scooped up the smaller boy within his arms. Surprised as to how little the boy weighed, but he just guessed that was because if his small build.

Jade eyes narrowed as Kai inspected the boy's face for any injuries, he sighed when there were none and the boy most likely passed out from fatigue.

Full soft lips caught the brunette's attention as he further studied the boy, he couldn't help but be drawn in towards them. As his lips grazed the smaller boy's lips, the brunette suddenly moved away. Eyes wide as he realized what he was about to do.

Looking around, the brunette decided that he shouldn't stand outside in the dark for long with a passed out boy within his arms. Rumours could spread quickly which would add more thing for Miwa to bug him about.

Aichi was hoisted onto the older teen's back in the position that he was given a piggy back. Any other position would have made the brunette catch a bit of attention.

"Aichi why are you passed out?"

Kai whispered as he carried the boy to his own apartment, not knowing what else to do.

"Reaping... seeds... Sowed...Dropped."

The smaller boy replied, the brunette glanced over towards the boy and saw that he was indeed still fast asleep and that he had spoken in his sleep.

Kai smirked slightly that at least the boy wasn't totally unconscious, if he were it would have concerned him slightly.

He wondered if he could get some answers from the boy, using that he picked him up off the streets as a reason. However he also wondered if that would push the smaller boy away from him.

After a while the brunette felt the smaller boy start to shift slightly in his hold, he guessed that Aichi was going to wake up soon so he placed him under a tree.

Not wanting to risk the boy panicking from waking up while being carried without permission.

The brunette's brows furrowed slightly when the boy moaned softly in pain before rubbing his eyes.

"Aichi you awake?"

The brunette asked, wanting to get his presence known to the boy.

"Huh....?..... Eh?! Kai?!"

The blue haired boy tried to hop up in surprise but the brunette noticed a flash of pain cross over the sapphire orbs.

"Yes I came across you while I was out for a walk"

The older teen sighed, feeling uneasy about the pain that he knew he had seen within the younger boy's eyes.

"...... You weren't following me?"

Aichi asked as he carefully sat up against the tree, the brunette nodded in response.

"I wasn't, but I want to know why you were passed out on the ground"

Sapphire eyes found their way to the ground as the younger of the two shifted uneasily.

"I told you before that its none of you business..."

The blue haired boy whispered softly, causing the brunette to tense.

"It is when I pick your unconscious body up and carry it"

The brunette replied as a thin frown found its way upon his lips.

"...... I'm still not telling you Kai..."

The brunette narrowed his eyes at the boy before smirking when he had an idea.

"Then I guess I'll ask your mom"

Sapphire eyes went wide at the mention of his mom, the smaller boy hopped up, the pain in his movements was visible to the older teen.

"Please no!..."

The pleading tone within Aichi's voice caught the brunette off guard, he knew that something truly wasn't right now.

Me: that's the end of the chapter~

Kai: ......

Me: what?

Kai: ending it there?

Me: yup~

Kai: that's not nice...

Me: well I felt like it cause limited time >~< that and I already started the next chappy for tomorrow~

Kai: *sigh*
