The brunette's gaze kept flickering over towards the blue haired boy. He just couldn't help it for some reason.

"Kai, I understand that your worried about Aichi but I doubt there's anything wrong with being openly happy for once"

Miwa sighed as he watched his friend once again start observing Aichi.

"Think what you want Miwa.... But for some reason I just know that he's hiding something"

A smirk crossed over the blond's face after the brunette spoke.

"Or you're just realizing that you may like him more than you think"

The blond teased, the brunette didn't even bother to shoot his friend a glare because he was too preoccupied watching the blue haired boy.

"I'll never understand you fully Miwa"

Kai sighed, causing the blond's ego to deflate slightly.

"Ouch..."

The brunette was grateful that the blond had stopped talking so that he could pay better attention to the blue haired boy. He could tell that the boy knew that he was being waived by the way that his sapphire eyes kept glancing slightly in his direction.

"Onii-San, is your wrist hurting a lot? You look a little more pale than usual"

Kamui asked after he noticed that his friend seemed a little drained and pale of face as of late.

"It hurts a little, I'm just tired.... Anyway did you hear that there coming out with new cards?"

Aichi replied, the brunette didn't miss how sapphire drifted towards the ground until the talk of new cards was spoken. Kai could tell that the small boy did not like lying.

"Oh yeah! I hope they come out with some strong cards!"

The black haired boy chirped in excitement, forgetting the first part of what the blue haired boy had said.

"Same, anyway I've got to go..."

Aichi sighed as he looked at the time, causing the brunette's eyes to narrow. It wasn't that late out yet, far from the time when the boy usually left.

Kamui frowned slightly before hesitantly nodding at the other's words.

"'Kay.... Next time lets battle again!"

Aichi smiled happily towards his friend then gave Misaki a parting nod before leaving the shop. The brunette quickly left after him.

"Stalker"

The blond softly whispered with a smirk when he watched his friend leave.

The brunette followed the smaller boy through the streets until he turned a corner, learning from last time, the brunette ran his full speed, afraid that he would lose the boy.

However when he turned the corner he came face to face with a annoyed Aichi.

The brunette was surprised when a sapphire glare was sent towards him as the boy looked up at him.

"Kai....."

The boy's voice was soft yet slight annoyance was evident within the smaller boy's voice.

"Yes?"

Kai replied, he hadn't expected that the younger boy would do something like this.

"Please stop staring and following me..."

Aichi's words caught the older one by surprise, he had expected the boy to be angry. However the previous glare had somehow transformed to a shy boy looking down at the ground, strands of blue blocking his eyes.

"I won't until you tell me what's going on with you Aichi"

The brunette replied, feeling slightly guilty for causing the boy to feel uneasy, yet he still wanted his answers.

The blue haired boy balled his hands into fists before slowly raising his gaze so that sapphire met with jade, the brunette could see anxiety and fear within the other's eyes.

"It's none of your business Kai"

The younger boy replied, causing a strange twinge of pain within the brunette for some reason.

"Yes it is"

A thin frown crossed the smaller boy's lips at the older teens response.

"How so?"

"Because it is"

The smaller boy laughed slightly and shook his head before looking back at the brunette.

"Funny, you never paid me any attention so please don't start now Kai"

The smaller boy's words unintentionally felt like venom to the brunette. He looked at the boy with wide eyes, not sure as to what he should say. It was true, and that reality shook the brunette to the core.

A look of concern crossed over Aichi's face as he realized that the brunette suddenly didn't seem like himself anymore.

"Kai, I'm sorry..."

The smaller boy replied, he hadn't meant to cause any harm with his words, the brunette shook his head, his hair covered his eyes so that the younger couldn't see his face.

"No, you're right.... I have no right to question you..."

The brunette whispered softly, causing the smaller boy to become alert with even more concern.

"You don't need to worry about me Kai, I'm.... Fine"

Aichi said with a soft and kind smile before turning to leave, not fooling the brunette at all. The older teen caught the smaller boy's uninjured, gently so as to not have a repeat of last time.

"No you're not..."

The smaller boy smiled sadly at the older boy before carefully removing himself from his grasp.

"Even if I'm not its okay...."

The blue haired boy whispered softly, half to himself after he turned away from the brunette and left him.

Aichi!"

The brunette called as he looked up, only to see that he was alone in the ally, the younger boy had once again disappeared.

"Why did it hurt so much when Aichi said that?"

The brunette whispered softly as he looked at his hand that had grabbed Aichi, barely audible, even to himself.

Kai shook his head then looked around, gaining his bearings because he had only paid attention to the smaller boy and not where they were headed.

He frowned when he recognized the area to be that of the area where it was more dangerous and wondered why the blue haired boy would head there.

"It may not be any of my business but... I don't know why, but I want to find out what's wrong with him"

Kai sighed sadly, unbeknownst to him that someone was watching him sadly from a shadow.

"Sorry..."

The person whispered softly before leaving the vicinity where the brunette was.
