Chapter 8: Mr. Five and Mrs. Eight

Flashback
Third person POV:

It almost been two years since Y/n and Five have been in the apocalypse they been dating for almost five months. They where walking to find a new shelter and decided to take a little break since they walked forever.
"Hey Fivey look what I found!" Y/n goes into there red wagon and gives Five a book.

"Darling is this Vanya?" He asks shocked.
"Yes it is. Do you want to read it?" She asks.
They both sat together and read all about the Hargreeves children.

They both knew it was interesting how she decided to expose them like that, definitely badass.
They were impressed...until they got to their chapter. For some reason Five and Y/n's we're together?

"Y/n was amazing girl, she was an interesting person. Honestly she made me feel like I belonged here. She actually cared about my feelings, but unfortunately she wasn't always with me she was with..Five. Honestly we all knew something was going on, they saw each other more then a friend. It was so obvious because Five was rude to others but Y/n? Nope a sweetheart is what he was.
Even though they had each other backs and Five helped Y/n through things, Five acted like he owned her.
Like if I wanted to talk to her or hangout with her he would get all mad. He acts like she belongs to him but in reality she doesn't she is a human being. Y/n didn't even do anything about. Is it maybe because she just needed someone to help her with her problems? Or maybe she likes the attention? But whatever it was she never did anything about it! Then Five literally made her run away with him. I tried to make her stay but because she wanted Five and now she is gone.

They looked at each shocked.
"I.." Y/n said but couldn't even finish.
"That's not true right? Your not just using me for attention?" Five asks sadly.
"What? Of course not, I love you a lot and you know I would never use you! And also you didn't force me to come with you. You asked and I accepted, even if you weren't gonna ask me I was still going to go with you either way." She kiss him and he kisses back.
"Good, Love you princess."
"Love you too lover boy." They get up and continue to look for shelter hand in hand.

Y/n's POV:

Five and I are currently walking with the Handler, in my opinion she gets way to close to Five! Everyone knows he's mine. Very annoying when she does that.

"I must admit, Number Five and Number Eight in all the time that I've been here, I've never met anyone quite like you." She says.
"Hazel and Cha-Cha, for example, are talented, certainly, but... they can't see the big picture. Your guys spunk, your enterprising spirit, well, it reminds me a great deal of myself, if...If things work out for you two here, you could potentially make a fine successor, Five and Eight." She explains.

"I'd like to discuss the logistics of my family's safety at your earliest convenience." Five says.
"As well as this body replacement." I added.

"Such chutzpah. It's refreshing, I'll admit.
Slow down, you two All in good time. In fact, now that you've finally agreed to work with us. we've got all the time in the world." She says, I scoffed.

"The Commission works in support of a delicate balance between the time line of events
and mankind's free will. The briefcase is no longer part of your kit, You're management now. One of us. All the people on this floor are case managers, each one responsible for one major event at a time." She showed us the room of the mangers.
