Chapter 23: Klaus's Roadtrip

"YOU KNOW WHAT? NO TWINE, NO BIRTH-MOTHER!"

Y/n's POV:

After that amazing nap, (which was like almost two hours) Five and I got up to shower, freshen up, and just felt relaxed. Five FINALLY GOT OUT OF HIS UNIFORM. He was his robe, and I was too. I really didn't wanna wear my old fashion clothes. We headed in the lobby hand in hand. I look at Five who looks very happy. I'm so glad he is because he deserves the world.

"Staring are we?" He grins, I blush. "Noo just, you look happy." I said.
He kisses the top of my head. We exit out of the elevator and I knew what I had to do.
"Hey love, I'll meet you in a bit with the others." I say letting go of his hand. He slightly frowned.
"Why?"
"I promise I'll tell you afterwards." I said, he looked hesitant but nodded and went with the others.
I speed walk to the front desk seeing Chet.
"Chet! My good sir how are you." I said in a fake accent.

"What do you want?"
"Well, you see I'm opening a new uh... business were I dog sit." I lied. He raised his eyebrow.
"And since you clearly have a dog, I can pet sit for you." I said looking at Mr. Pennycrumb.
He quickly went by Mr. Pennycrumb.
"No it's alright."
"Please chet!"
"No you look too young to be opening a business."
I sighed, I really want Mr. Pennycrumb.
"Please?"
"No."
"Pretty please?"
"No!"

I was about to give up until I have an idea. I cant believe i'm doing this.
"Wow, I can't believe you don't recognize me." I sighed pretended to be sad.
"What do you mean?" He asked.
"You don't know who I am?"
He just nodded no.
"I am Y/n Hargreeves, Number Eight of the Sparrow Academy."
He's eyes widened, "So your father is-"
"Sir Reginald Hargreeves, yes. And I could tell him to shut down your hotel.." I said walking away.
"No! Please. Fine, you can pet sit Mr. Pennycrumb."
"YES! I mean, thank you my good sir." I said trying not to jump up and down.

"If anything happens to him, I'll...uh," Chet thinks.
"I'll kick you out of my hotel." He says.
I nodded, "Yes sir."
He sighs and picks up Mr. Pennycrumb.
"Now, be a good boy okay?" He tells him then hands him to me.
Chet told me basically all the rules of how to take care of him. IM SO EXCITED.
"Thank you Chet I won't let you down." I said walking away. I head over to Five and them.
"Hello Mr. Pennycrumb I'm Y/n."
He just tilts his head.
"Don't worry I'll take care of you." I kissed his head and he licks my face. SO ADORABLE.

I see Five grabbing a drink and sitting down with Diego, Luther, and Klaus.
"What's wrong? You look happy?" Luther asks Five.
"I am plenty happy. Had a nap with the woman I love and a shvitz. What does a man need?"
Aww he's so sweet.
"Brothers who don't eat like barn animals? Oh and speaking of the woman you love." Klaus points points at me. They all turn to me.
"Hey guys!"
"Hey!" They all said.
"Hello dar- what the- where did you get the dog from?" Five asks pointing at Mr. Pennycrumb.
I sit down next to him, "I'm pet sitting Chet's dog.
Klaus looked surprised, "He let you?"

I nodded.
"You didn't steal it?" Diego asked.
"No."
"You didn't use your powers to make him see demons?" Luther asked
"No..."
"Did you kill-"
"You guys! You're making me sound like a monster." I said laughing a little.
"I asked him like a normal human. Also lied to him about me opening a business for pet sitting. Also threatened to shut down his hotel."
"Andd there she is." Five grins and gives me some food.

I started eating some noddles.
"Holy shit this is so good!" I said muffled. Five just smiles and kisses my cheek.
"Now, I've been thinking through our little timeline snafu, and I'm pleased to report that in my professional, expert opinion. We are totally in the clear."
"Awesome!" Klaus says.
"Great."
I looked at Mr. Pennycrumb who was trying to eat my noodles.
Can dogs have noodles?
"So everything is fine?"
"More or less. I mean, there is one..small thing. It's nothing we can't mange." He says then open's his Chinese food box.
"So spit it out, boomer!" Diego yelled at him. I kicked his leg under the table.
"Don't be fucking rude."
"Thank you love, Now dad didn't adopt us as babies, but those babies still existed here. We just grew up in different places with different people."
"So?" Diego asks.
