Chapter 15: She loves ME!

"Wonder if it's too late to be un-adopted."

Five's POV:

Eight and I went to get Vanya in the corn field, but Eight looks nervous why is she nervous? We are just getting Vanya.
"Darling why are you n-"
"Oh I think Vanya is over there!" She interrupted me and walked to where she thinks Vanya is.
What is going on?

"Hi, Vanya." I tell her. She is sitting on the floor looking confused and scared.
"Who are you two?" She asks us.
"I'm your brother."
"I have a brother?"

"I am Y-"
"Y/n" Vanya continues
"Wait you remember Eight?" I asked
"Eight?"
"Shit I mean Y/n."
"Well no memories but I just remember her name."
Eight jumps a bit.
"Look, you can either stay here and wait for the IKEA mafia to come back to kill you, or you can come with us." She said then started walking away.
Vanya and I followed her. Why is Eight acting like this? It's scaring me.

"Wh... Why are they trying to kill me?" Vanya asked nervously
"Cause you're not supposed to be here, Vanya."
"In Dallas?"
"No. Here, in 1963."

"Holy shit."
We were in a circle were the field was wiped out.
"Yeah, pretty wild, right?" Eight says.
"It's good to see your powers are still intact. Let's go." I say and we all continue walking.

We arrived at a cafe.
"What do you want today?" The waitress asked us pulling her notebook out.
"Two black coffee's." I said knowing what Eight wants.
"I'll have coffee with creamer." Vanya says.
"Oh can you add a sandwich?" Eight asked.
The waitress nodded and when to get our orders.

I looked at Eight, "Don't judge me I haven't ate all day."
I lightly chuckled, "No it's not that are you okay? you been acting a little weird." I asked.
"I'm definitely fine..i'll tell you afterwards." She said.
I nodded and kissed her cheek.

The waitress came back with our orders and poured our black coffee's.

"Leave the pot." I told her.
"Lippy little shit." She muttered.
"Pft giving her a bad review." Eight muttered.
I light chuckled Eight always know how to make a serious situation funny. That's what I love about her.

"You two gonna tell me what the hell's going on?" Vanya interrupted my thoughts.
"You wanna explain or me?" Eight asked.
"Don't worry love I got this enjoy your sandwich."

"Now, when you were a baby, you were bought
by an eccentric billionaire. He raised you in an elite academy with eight other siblings with extraordinary powers, but in the year 2019, in order to avoid the apocalypse, we jumped into a vortex and ended up being scattered throughout the timeline in Dallas, Texas. Any questions?"
Vanya looked so shocked and speechless.

"What do you mean, the apocalypse?" Vanya asked.
"I mean the end of the world as we know it."
"Yeah, but how?"
"You really don't remember anything?"
"No, nothing before a month ago." Vanya says.
"Then what do you remember?"
"I landed in, like, a... back alley. Got hit by a car. My head was ringing like crazy. I had no idea how I got there, where I came from."

"Well at least you don't remember crushing on Eight." I muttered.
"Ohh wait I remember someone being way protective over Y/n, that was you?"
"Yes you kept hitting on her, plus she is happy in this relationship." I said. I mean me and Eight really love each other, we rarely fight.
