I walk through the open wooden doors, my eyes roaming all over the room. It was filled with all kinds of colors.

A few people turned to look at me, but I didn't care. The one person my eyes were fixed on was at the back, standing beside the drinks.

Lucius.

His body was turned away from me, and he was secretly pouring whiskey into his drink. The completely black suit he was wearing made him 10x more attractive.

He finally turned around, his eyes looking around to see if anyone noticed him pouring the whiskey. His eyes landed on me, making fireworks erupt in my stomach and into my chest. I swallowed, then smiled lightly.

Lucius smiled back at me and took a sip of his drink.

"Cho, I'm gonna go get a drink. I might sit or something," I said, tearing my eyes off Lucius.

Cho smiled a little. "Okay, have fun."

I laugh. "Yeah, alright."

I walk away, heading towards the drink table. Slowly, I approach Lucius.

"Hello, Mr. Malfoy," I smile.

"Y/n," he nods. "Nice to see you again."

I turn around and grab something random to drink. My throat was so dry, so I didn't care what it was.

"Having fun?" I take a long sip.

Lucius laughs, "I wish."

I raise my eyebrows. "That bad?"

He nods. "These students are all over each other. It's horrible to watch."

I laugh. "Welcome to the teenage years."

Lucius glances over at me and smiles. I stare ahead at the dancing people, leaning against the table.

"I'm gonna go sit down. Hope you have fun, Lucius," I say and walk away. Eventually, I find a table that Luna is sitting at with Neville. It seems a little too quiet.

"Hey, Luna. And Neville," I smile at them. She smiles back. "Hello!"

Neville seems a little shy. He just nods. I take a seat that's facing the rest of the room. My eyes travel back over to the drink table. Lucius is no longer there.

That's weird, where did he go?

The silence at the table was a little awkward. I emptied my drink and looked around the room. Still being thirsty, I stood up. I asked Luna and Neville if they wanted anything, but they both said no.

Once my drink was filled again, I turned to leave, but someone was blocking my way.

Draco.

"What do you want, Malfoy?" I asked him, annoyed.

He rolled his eyes. "I just wanted you to know how bad you looked in that dress. And why is there a giant slit? Did you cut it so that guys would see your legs? Oh, nice shoes, they'll probably break with you wearing them," Malfoy laughed.

I frowned. "Seriously? That's all you could come up with?" I questioned. His words did kinda hurt, but I wasn't gonna tell him that. Before he could answer, I shoved him aside and walked towards the door. It was getting too stuffy in here anyways.

Outside, the rain pelted down on my skin. I had decided to sit on the edge of the fountain in the courtyard.

Suddenly, a voice came from behind me.

"Is everything alright, miss L/n?"

I swiveled my head around. It was Lucius. I nodded.
