The next morning, I woke up to the sun shining in my face. I groaned and put my pillow over my face.

Wait. This is not my pillow

I sit up instantly and look around the room. I suddenly recall the events of the previous night. Lucius insisted I stay so that I don't get caught by Filch.

I push back the blankets and swing my legs around the side of the bed. The feel of the cold floor against my feet sent chills throughout my body. I stand up and walk to the door.

In the kitchen, Lucius is making pancakes. I slide onto one of the bar stools. The noise gets Lucius' attention and he turns around.

"Oh. You're awake. Morning," he smiles and hands me a plate, then grabs his own and walks around the counter.

"Good morning. Thanks," I reply.

"Anytime. Did you sleep well?" he asks me. I nod and take a bite of the food.

Wow. I never expected Lucius to be such a good cook.

"This is so good," I close my eyes and savor the flavor.

Lucius laughs. "Thank you."

I take another bite and the flavor causes an explosion in my mouth. The sweet taste is so amazing, so I start to sway as if I was dancing.

Suddenly, I am reminded of the dance last night. I smile to myself.

"Wait... I don't have any clothes to wear back to my dorm," I snap my eyes open, forgetting about the pancakes.

"Y/n. You can wear mine," Lucius says.

"No. Don't you think I will look a little suspicious wearing a mans clothes?" I ask.

"They won't look like they belong to a man, Y/n," he tries to assure me.

"Lucius. Tell me you're joking. They are way too big!" I exclaim.

He sighs. "We will find something, trust me."

"Fine."

I stand in the doorway of the giant closet while Lucius searches for something.

"Are sweatpants okay just for the walk back to your dorm?" he turns his head to look at me. I nod and he turns around to face me.

"Here." Lucius places the sweatpants and t-shirt in my hands. I go to the bathroom and change. All of my belongings are still everywhere. I feel bad for making a mess of the bathroom. It looks as if I live here.

The sweatpants are definitely too long, making them bunch up at the bottom. I can handle that. What I can't handle, though, is the way they slide down. I burst out of the bathroom.

"Lucius, they keep sliding down!" he laughs and watches as I stand awkwardly while holding the top of them. "Come here." I walk over to him and he squats down so that his face is level with my waist.

"Hold the shirt up," he tells me, and I listen. He grabs the strings and pulls them out so that it tightens the waistband, then ties them so they stay. "There. See? All better," Lucius stands back up.

"Thank you... but what about my shoes? Do I wear my heels?" I question.

"Do you really want to wear those again?" he asks.

I shake my head, "Not really..."

"Didn't you leave the converse I bought you here on accident?" He's right. I was in a rush to leave and prepare for the ball, which made me forget my gifts.

"Yes! I did. Thank merlin!" I exclaim. Lucius walks over to the table and grabs a box. He hands it to me and I slip the shoes on. "My stuff..." I say

"Don't worry about it. I'll get it all ready and you can drop by later to get it."

"Oh. Thank you," I start to head towards the door. "See you later, Lucius," I wave.

"See you," he smiles.

I walk out the door and through his office. It feels like I'm more of a friend to Lucius than a cleaner.

Back in the common room, there are a few people sitting on the sofa, but they don't notice me, thank Merlin.

In the dorm, Cho is still sleeping, and Luna isn't there. She's probably out on a walk. I went straight to my trunk and put the box with the crown in it, then got out some clothes. I took my stuff to the bathroom and sat them on the counter.

After turning the shower on, I slipped out of Lucius' clothes and stepped under the warm water. I washed my hair, shaved, then washed my body. When I was finished, I dried off and got dressed. I picked something simple but warm since it was winter, jeans and black sweater.

I brushed my hair and teeth, then put on deodorant and sprayed perfume. I decided to keep my hair down so it could keep my neck warm. Finally, I exited the bathroom and slipped on my winter boots. In my opinion, they were the most hideous things I've ever seen, but they were good for the weather, so I didn't complain. Before I left, I bundled up. I put on my winter coat, scarf, hat, and gloves.

I grabbed the dirty clothes that I borrowed from Lucius and folded them. They needed washed so I decided I would drop them off on my way to get my dress.

After taking a detour to the laundry room, I headed towards Lucius' office.

Once there, I knocked on the door. He quickly answered and stepped aside. I walked through the door and immediately felt the warmth of the fire burning in the fireplace.

"Hello again, Y/n," he greeted me.

"Lucius," I nodded at him.

I took off my all of my winter items and hung them up on the hooks by the door. "Your dress is here," he told me and handed me a large box.

I opened it up to take a look. Inside, my dress was neatly folded and all of my other items like my shoes, jewelry, and hair items were tucked away in the sides or on top. "Thank you, Lucius," I smile.

"No problem."

"I dropped your clothes off to be washed. I can get them for you if you want," I offer.

Lucius shakes his head, "It's alright. I'll get them."

"Oh ok. Well when am I supposed to clean again?" I ask.

"Hmm. You can tomorrow if you want," he answers.

I nod. "Alright. I think I better go. I haven't talked to my friends since yesterday."

"Okay. Be careful, the weather is getting worse," he looked at me with serious eyes.

"I will, I swear," I laugh.

I bundle back up in all of my clothes and head out with my items.
