38- Too Good To Be True

After the Royal Family had left I stayed in the palace. I would just return home tomorrow, on Monday after classes. I'd get bono from tae's on my way.

Weird to think that this was my life now; weekends entertaining a royal family and during the week following classes at a nice university.

It was so different from what I used to do. Waiting for the next mission, training everyday.

We decided to watch a movie but not even 10 minutes in, Jungkook received a text and looked at it.

       'mom suggests we should look at the tv, there is something on there'

I nodded and Jungkook already grabbed the remote turning the tv on.

It were all videos of the Japanese royal family at the airport. but it was mainly focused on Kazun. He was speaking to all the camera's;

        'I am personally very impressed, and I have to say Jungkook can call himself lucky for finding himself such a capable and smart girlfriend.'

       'tsk' was the only thing Jungkook let out but the amount of annoyance he put in such a short word was actually impressive.

As I turned my head I saw him extravagantly rolling his eyes.

       'You seem quite taken with her?' one of the reporters shouted

Kazun chuckled and shrugged, 'I am just saying that she made an impression, but she is also very much in love with the Korean crown prince and I wish them both a lot of happiness'

That was the last thing he said before getting on the plane with his parents.

       'Glad he is away' Jungkook groaned. but I also noticed that this was good for me as I saw the headline;
"The Prince's new girlfriend impresses the Japanese Royal Family"

I softly placed my lips on his

      'This was a good weekend' I whispered, he pushed me closer to him and moaned as our bodies were now more connected

       'it was'

The following weekend on Saturday night I had invited Jimin, Tae and Maria for drinks. I really wanted to have a "normal" evening. Jungkook had accompanied me here after class anyway so he was already present. Unfortunately that didn't go entirely unnoticed by the press so they were very active in the afternoon, luckily when the evening arrived many of them left.

First Taehyung and Maria made their appearance, Taehyung as I was now used of him brought a load shit of sojus. He immediately started to play with Bono.

Jimin had a very much "it's fashionable to be late" arrival. But when we were finally complete we decided on playing games and it was actually really nice. Apparently Jimin and Taehyung really stayed friends and I noticed they were having inside jokes.

We talked about how everyone was doing, Taehyung and the agency, though we ofcourse did not go into detail because it was always very secretive.

Jimin was still taking a "gap year" it basically was already his third year but he was having too much fun. Maria was still working at the hospital and she was almost ready to become a surgeon. That was also the way she met Taehyung, he ended up in the hospital after a fight in one of his missions and she attended his wounds. He was listening to some jazz and apparently she was a huge fan as well.

      'And what about you two? How is everything going?' Maria asked me in a sympathetic voice

I smiled at Jungkook 'I think we are doing pretty good, what do you think?'

Pretty good wouldn't really cover it, I hadn't been this happy... ever. The way he was able to make me feel was incomparable to anything I had experienced before.

he also smiled 'I think pretty decent yes'

        'y/n, if things don't work out you can always contact the Japanese prince, from what I've heard he is quite taken with you'' Jimin joked and everyone laughed except for Jungkook who looked at him with dagger eyes.

        'oef try to laugh it off Jungkook, don't be so sensitive' Jimin added and Jungkook rolled his eyes.

       'That prince gets on my nerves'

        'Oh I quite liked him actually' I said but it was just to tease Jungkook and I saw everyone trying to hold in their laugh

         'ah y/n don't be mean' Jungkook pouted and as soon as he used this sad/cute voice with me I couldn't help but smile at him.

        'you're my prince, remember?'

Referencing back to that moment, our most, lets say, passionate sex so far, and I saw Jungkook's ears turn red. and I couldn't hold back my chuckle.

        'I think I am missing something.' Taehyung shrugged

Jimin's eyes switched between me and Jungkook and then he let out a laugh

        'I think we don't even want to know.'

We played games and basically got wasted as hell. It was really fun, it had been such a long time. It was as if we were actually college students, even though only two of us were. Jimin was the first to leave, he had been texting with a girl the entre evening, not annoyingly much or anything but just it was clear he was and at some point she invited him over and that was his time to go, so to say.

Taehyung and Maria left when Taehyung was at a point he just didn't make sense anymore. I knew he was a heavy drinker, he always was. Maria was way to considered and cute, she was always attending him. He loved her more than anything for it but I sometimes wished he wouldn't push his limits like that.

Jungkook stayed with me tonight. We changed into our nightwear and left for bed immediately. Both too tired from everything. I will clean the mess we made tomorrow.

As we laid in bed Jungkook pulled me closer in an embrace. His soft embrace was the best thing in the world. his head resting on mine.

       'Thank you y/n' he whispered while cuddling.

         'for what?'

        'It's nice to have evenings like this, as if I was a normal college guy.'

I smiled softly at him.

        'It was really nice' I agreed. 'it's the college guy I fell in love with after all.'

I brought my face to meet his and kissed him shortly on the lips.

The weeks passed again, I spent a lot of time studying because university wasn't all fun and games. It was hard work.

In the spare time I had I met up with Chris and Han, Tae and the majority of the time with Jungkook. Sometimes at my place, sometimes in the palace.

It almost seemed to be good to be true;

I was back in University where I had friends and a loving boyfriend

Our relationship was better than ever

His family was supportive

and the press loved me

Too good to be true, and I unfortunately discovered the following weekend

It was Sunday morning and I had prepared breakfast and as every morning I'd turn on the tv to see the news of the day. I froze and dropped the bowl of cereal I had in my hands as I read the headline.

"Mother of y/n has stepped forwards and tells all in an exclusive interview, watch it after the break"
