54 - Promise (Epilogue)

Three years later

     'Princess y/n, the king is asking if you are ready' I heard seokjin's voice from outside of my room. I chuckled, I had asked him time and time again not to call me princess yet he still did. It suited him though.

I stared at myself in the mirror one last time, in my long dress and high heels.

Jungkook first gazed at me

    'You look stunning y/n'

That alone made my heart jump and my cheeks fluster. I was wearing a dark blue dress that was knee length. I then had time to actually take a better look at him, he was wearing a suit which fitted him absolutely perfectly.

     'You're looking perfect' I let out not really thinking about it that much, until I actually said it.

He looked away shyly. 'let's go' he then said.

Namjoon drove us to the venue.

      'Remember, today is a day for y/n and Jungkook and not the princess and king' I said. Jungkook took both my hands in his 'I know, I am excited'

      'me too'

We arrived and the place looked absolutely beautiful. It was in the garden of this artistic building. Taehyung came walking our way with the biggest smile.

       'You are here already!' he said

       'Of course I would be early for my best friend's wedding.' I replied with a big smile as well.

He shyly looked away 'yes, I am really getting married. and in the presence of such special guests' he added as a joke

I shook my head 'today it's just y/n and Jungkook.'

Taehyung laughed 'alrighty then "just" y/n and Jungkook. You can get refreshments at the bar but we would like to start soon so if you could take a seat that would be appreciated. And y/n as one of my best man.. woman, when the music starts I will position myself so please join me at that point'

     'yes of course'

We sat down and we were very soon joined by Jimin and Hana.

      'Can you believe the first one to get married is taehyung? not one of us royals that are pressured into marriage' he asked us jokingly

      'I guess miracles still exist,' I replied with a chuckle.

      'Did my dear cousin not have the guts to ask you yet y/n?'

       'Chim you can't joke like that!' Hana said shocked

I laughed and so did Jimin but he did put an arm around her 'I am sorry baby I am just teasing y/n'

It was a pretty nice story, those two. They met formally at Jungkook's inauguration and talked a lot. I think they relate very much to each other as they both were born into this life and have very demanding parents that seem to be only disappointed in them. It wasn't an easy road for Jimin though, as he was the playboy royal but due time he was able to persuade Hana he was genuine in his feelings for her. 

She was clearly head over heels for him. I think her mothers continuous pushing attempts at Jungkook made Hana believe that she had some feelings for him, but she explained that when she met Jimin she realised that love is different from that adoration and respect you have for certain friends.

       'You know, me and hana watched that movie yesterday ... the bodyguard. And basically Jungkook you are like Whitney houston and y/n you are like that dude kevin costner. Maybe you should sing the "I will always love you song" to y/n to win her heart' Jimin explained
