17- I Need To Find Her

I remember in movies I would sometimes ridicule that moment when something bad happened and the directors would choose to blur out the scenery around the main actor. But that was exactly how I felt in this moment.

This hypnotic state I was in was interrupted by a loud thud.

     'Brother?' Yeonjun asked looking at me and I realized the phone I held in my hand was now dropped to the floor.

I quickly grabbed it, to check again if this wasn't a nightmare. That I didn't imagine it.

But then again I was faced with the picture.

    'Are you okay?' he asked worried .

     'I uh' my hands trembled while I showed him.

     'What', his reaction was almost as shocked as mine.

I needed to find her, I needed to save her. I put aside my anxiety and my fear and grabbed my jacket.

     'What are you going to do?' Yeonjun asked.

      'I need to find her.'

      'Where will you even start?'

I stopped in my tracks. I had no idea, no fucking clue where to begin. Perhaps at her apartment?

     'Her apartment'

     'You can't leave, father told you to stay inside.'

      'I can't stand idly by.'

I ran down the stairs towards the door but suddenly Namjoon, our head of security, was there blocking it.

     'Sir, we have strict orders that you cannot leave the premises.'

      'Namjoon I am serious don't stand in my way right now.'

It was obvious Namjoon was struggling with what to do.

     'Step aside .. NOW' I repeated. 

     'What's going on here?' it was my fathers stern voice.

I turned around to face him, next to him was mother.

       'They kidnapped her.'

        'What?'

It was mother and she sounded very puzzled which wasn't a shocker considering my message was rather unclear.

      'The people that came for me, I think at least, they took y/n, the bodyguard.'

      'How do you know this?' my father asked in a calm manner

I rushed their way and showed them my phone. they both attentively read the message.

    'You're absolutely not going there. we will contact her organization to inform them about this. they can take it further.'

Father spoke as if it was a business decision, it was formal.

      'They can take it further? It says I have to do it' I said frustrated.

      'and that is precisely why you're not going to.'

      'She is taken because she helped me' I exclaimed.  

       'And that is very unfortunate but she is a spy and these things happen all the time in that field of work.'

      'That's it?' I asked astonished.

       'Yes that's it. I will call her agency shortly.'
