Callie's POV:
Later that night, I decide to talk to Jude, "hey buddy"
"Hi" he says without looking up from his video game.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine" he says still without looking up.
"Jude, please look at me"
He stops his video game and looks up into my eyes "what?"
"What are you thinking? Please tell me what's going through your mind" I ask him.
"You really want to know what I'm thinking? You really want to know that I can't stop reminding myself that you and I are not real brother and sister?"
"Jude! Don't say that, I am your sister and nothing will change that! Not even having different dads."
He looked back down before finally saying "moms said you want me to get adopted. Without you" I slowly nod.
"Callie, I don't want to do that. I want us to get adopted together"
"Jude I don't know how long it will take. Stef and Lena haven't even found my birth father yet. I really think you should get adopted now." I say faking a smile. "Now get to bed, it's a school night"

The next morning, in second period, Timothy, my english teacher, hands out a notebook and explains our assignment.
"I want you all to write about something that you feel ashamed or guilty about" he says to the class.
"I bet Callie has a lot she wants to write." I hear Talya whisper to one of her friends.
"And don't worry, no one will read it" Timothy says right as the bell rings.

When I get home, I decide to begin my assignment.
I sit at the desk in my room with my notebook open and pen in my hand.
Shame. What am I ashamed of? Theres a lot I'm ashamed of. Then it hit me. Liam.
I begin writing in my journal;
The day Liam kissed me, I knew it was wrong. But he made me feel so good and loved and I didn't want the feeling to stop...
