Chapter 29

Tom's POV

Abby has been eating a lot lately, and been kinda sick.I feel like we should go to a doctor. But every time I suggest it she says she's fine. Justin thinks that Abby is pregnant but I just think it's a stomach bug.

Your POV

I had taken like five pregnancy tests and now I'm just waiting.

Hailey: " this is amazing!! You could be pregnant!"

You: " I don't think I want to be. I mean I do want kids but, Tom is gonna be so busy over next few years. And I'm not ready to stop modelling yet."

Hailey: " so if you are pregnant, would you keep it?"

You: " I honestly don't know. I'm not ready yet. I'm only 21."

Hailey: " so would you get an abortion of put it up for adoption?"

You: " I don't know Hailey. We don't even know if I am pregnant. Speaking of which, how long has it been?"

Hailey: " five minutes, do you want to check? Or do you want me to?"

You: " can you please?"

Hailey: " ya."

She walked into the bathroom and looked at one of them.

Hailey: " it's positive."

You: " WHAT?!"

Hailey: " hang on there are like four more. This one could be wrong."

She looked at another one.

Hailey: " negative, negative, positive, negative. So the majority are negative, so you are not pregnant. But if you want to be sure we can book a doctors appointment?"

You: " I think I'd feel better if I did."

Hailey: " are you gonna tell Tom?"

You: " no, no, no! Because what if it's negative and he actually wanted it."

Hailey: " well that's something he's gonna have to live with. You are the girl he wants to have his kids, he's gonna have to wait till you are ready."

You: " you are right. But I still don't know if I want to tell him."

We booked an appointment and luckily they didn't have a lot so we could go today. Once we got there I was terrified. This could change my life forever. There are two separate ways this could go.

One way I could end up pregnant and Tom could love me and this baby so much that he's always with me. Or it could come back positive and he would leave me.

And then what if it's negative? And he does want the baby. Does that mean he's mad at me for not being pregnant. Or he would want to try? I don't know. All I know is that this could change mine and Tom's relationship forever.

Reception lady: " Abby Baldwin? They are ready for you."

Hailey and I stood up and followed her into the room she told me to sit down on the table.

Doctor: " ok so, how are we doing today? And why do you think you are pregnant? Do you have symptoms or did you just do it unprotected?"

I laughed at her a bit.

You: " I have been really hungry and throwing up a lot. So I took so tests. About four were negative. But two were positive. So we just wanted to be safe."

Doctor: " well you made the right choice."

She lifted up my shirt and rubbed the gel all over my stomach. She took the thing that they use to see the baby and rubbed it all over.
