Chapter 17

Anywho- here's the chapter

"Want to talk about it?" Luke asked.

The two were now sitting on a bench that was nearby. Reiki was quiet and fidgety. He tapped his foot on the ground while playing with his fingers.

"What else is there to say?"

"Plenty. Like how did it happen? How are you feeling?"

"Look, I'm fine now," Reiki said with a sigh. "I cried and that's all I needed."

"Come on... talk to me," Luke pestered.

"Like I said, I'm good. Besides, I promised that I wouldn't tell anyone. You shouldn't know." Reiki was now looking a Luke with frustration evident.

"What do you mean? Promised? That doesn't sound right," the blond said, full of concern.

"Look, this doesn't concern you Luke. Stay out of it. It's my trouble to deal with," Reiki stubbornly said.

Luke sighed, "Alright, just know I'm here when you're ready to talk."

Reiki didn't say a word. He was really conflicted. He wanted to give every detail of what happened. He was desperate to tell somebody, anybody. He shouldn't though. Reiki told her he wouldn't and he broke his promise, so the best he could do is keep his mouth shut and not say word to anyone else.

"Let's head back to Mirajane's and Laxus's," Reiki said as he got up from his spot.

"Okay," Luke said as he got up and followed the boy back.

"By the way..." Reiki started, not even looking back.

"Yeah?" Luke said, with hopeful eyes.

"You better not meddle with anything."

Luke felt hurt. He wanted to desperately help his friend, but felt helpless to do so. The walls were building and he couldn't stop it.

After Reiki and Luke left it got very awkward between the three of them. Should they play another game, wait for them to come back, or go home? If they played another game and they came back it would seem heartless, but if they waited and the two didn't come back they'd be waiting for nothing. If they went home it might seem like they don't even care.

"I'm telling you guys that we should just go back to Mirajane's," said Gale.

"I know you're upset about what happened and I am too, but I'm still worried about him. I think we should just wait," said Storm.

"Look, it doesn't really seem like Reiki wants to come back," Gale replied.

"I'm sure he's just stressed with everything going on," said Rin.

"Not you too," said Gale. "Ugh..."

"I do thing that we should go back though," Rin finished.

"See! Two against one!"

Storm let out a deep breath and said annoyedly, "Fine, we'll go back."

"Yes!"

"Shut up, ya moron," Storm said as he smacked Gale up side the head.

Nashi sat in the kitchen on one of the stools Mirajane had in the kitchen. She didn't know what to do since her best friend was off with her worst enemy.

Suddenly the doorbell rang followed by a few people entering the house. "They're here!" Mirajane exclaimed. Nashi watched as she ran out of the kitchen to greet the guests. "Hello," she heard from the other room.

"It's nice to see you again, it's been a while," said a feminine voice.

"Sebastian the boys went out, and the girls are doing their thing upstairs. Um... oh! Nashi's in the kitchen. She's having trouble fitting in, so you should talk to her," she heard Mirajane's voice say as it gets closer to the kitchen.

"Ugh...!" Nashi buried her face in her hair. Last thing she wanted was for someone to hear that she's having trouble with making friends.

Mirajane returned to her spot in the kitchen, but this time Lisanna was helping her. Bickslow and his son entered the room a minute after them. Sebastian sat next to Nashi and Bickslow next to Sebastian.

Neither Sebastian nor Nashi wanted to start a conversation with each other, so they just looked over to the meal that was being made. It was very awkward to say the least.

Just as Nashi was about to get up and leave, Lisanna walked over to her. "Hello, I'm Lisanna," she said as she held out her hand with a smile.

Nashi gave her a small smile back as she shook Lisanna's hand, "I am Nashi Dragneel."

"Really? You look so much like Natsu!" Lisanna giggled.

"Haha, thanks," Nashi said awkwardly.

"Oh, has my son introduced himself?"

"No."

Lisanna sighed, "This is my son Sebastian, and that over there is my husband, Bickslow." Nashi gave the both of them a smile. Sebastian ignored her while Bickslow smiled back. "They both can be very quiet..."

"I see..." said Nashi. She was dying inside. It was so awkward with no one talking. Unfortunately, she started to regret not taking up Nova's offer to hang out.

"Oh! Sebastian skateboards!" Lisanna said excitedly.

"Skateboard?" Nashi asked.

"Yeah! Why don't you go show her, Sebastian," she said to her son.

He let out a groan before getting up and walking out of the kitchen. "Um..." said Nashi unsure of what to do.

"Follow him. He just hates meeting new people, but once he gets to know them he comes out of his shell," Lisanna said.

Nashi walked out of the kitchen and to the living area where Sebastian grabbed his skateboard and pointed for Nashi to grab the second one he had. He went outside and Nashi grabbed his other skateboard, following him out the door.

Sebastian put his skateboard on the ground and said, "Which foot is dominant?"

"My right," Nashi responded.

"Okay, so what you're going to do is put your right foot on the back four dots and use your left foot to gain speed. Once that's done you put your left foot onto the front four dots and lean you body to steer. I'll demonstrate," he said. He got on the skateboard and did exactly as he told Nashi to do.

Nashi got onto her skateboard and did the same thing. "I did it!" she said excitedly.

"Looks like you have a natural talent," he responded.

"I just remembered..." Mirajane said.

"Remembered what?" asked Lisanna.

"Reiki and Sebastian never got along, did they?"

"It'll be interesting when they meet again. Let's just hope this time they don't blow a hole in the side of the house," Bickslow commented.

Reiki walked up to the house and stopped the moment he saw Sebastian. "What are you doing here?" Sebastian asked with a grimace.

Reiki looked at him with a scowl, "You know, I could ask you the same damn thing."
