"Hey, I know you want to get the guild back together, but I was wondering why?" Sylvia said as she grabbed a pair of ice skates.
They were at the nearby indoor ice rink, and Nashi was trying ice skating for the first time. It wasn't her idea of having fun, but Sylvia insisted.
Nashi, also getting herself a pair of ice skates, said, "I don't really know. I just knew that I wanted to ever since my parents told me about it. They always seem so sad and sometimes mad when it's brought up."
"But your dad helped you come find us, right?" Sylvia asked.
"Yeah..." Nashi said as she tried putting on her ice skates. "I think he finally gave in. I think he misses it. I mean, think about it; he had been in the guild all of his childhood. He left for a year and found it disbanded when he came back."
"Wow, he must've been upset," Sylvia said as she put on her ice skates.
"He was," Nashi said as she struggled to put on the first ice skate.
"Need help?" Sylvia chuckled.
Nashi had half her foot in the ice skate when she finally gave up and rested her foot on the floor. "Yeah," she sighed
Sylvia, who now has her ice skates on, went over to Nashi and helped her with her skates. "They never tried to get the guild back together?"
"I think Juvia mentioned something like that, but she didn't go into it," said Nashi.
"I wonder why?"
"Well what does it matter now? We're getting the guild back together," Nashi smiled.
"You're right," Sylvia said as she finished tying Nashi's ice skates.
Nashi stood up and started wobbling. "Wooow," she said trying to keep her balance.
Sylvia came up next to her and helped keep her steady. They slowly entered the rink and Sylvia held Nashi's hand to guide her. "I promise this will be simple once you get it. You'll take your right foot and push it back, then you'll do the same with the left. Afterwards, you will want to move your feet inwards, then move them outwards."
Nashi started doing as instructed, but was quick to start losing her balance. She started wobbling and was going to take Sylvia's hand, but she fell forward. "Ouch."
"Oh no," Sylvia said as she helped Nashi up. "If you need to, just grab onto me. I'm a pro at this."
"Alright..."
They both start skating again and they barely went forward when Nashi tripped over her own skate and fell into Sylvia, causing both girls to scream as they fell. They sat up, looked at each other and started laughing. "So you're a pro?" Nashi questioned as she continued to laugh.
"It's hard to keep balance when someone falls on you," Sylvia said, also still laughing.
"Maybe we should do something else?" Nashi asked.
"Sure, what would you like to do?"
"Let's get something to eat."
"Nashi, we just ate," Sylvia argued.
"Fine, then let's get some pastries."
"Well, I can't say no to that."
So that's what Nashi did, she dragged Sylvia to the bakery. Sylvia decided to get a chocolate cookie and Nashi... well Sylvia had to tell her they need to save money for other things.
