Chapter 6

It only took Alpha Dom and my uncle ten minutes to get to my hospital room after I mind linked them letting them know I was ready to speak with them. 

Currently we are sitting back in my hospital room. Oren was against letting me up to leave his side mainly because of my injured ribs. After our first heated discussion we settled on him carrying me the twenty feet back to my room.

I can tell Oren is not used to having anyone argue with him and even now it bring a small smile to my face watching him struggle with that loss of power. I know he's not mad or even upset at that fact, I can see the smirk on his face like a badge of pride when we finally came to a compromise.

Alpha Dominic is the first to speak as he sits across from the hospital bed in a wooden chair to my left. My Uncle is standing next to him with his arms folded over his chest a worried expression he's not bothering to hide shades his face, causing my anxiety to rise. 

"Ariella, tell us everything you remember from the day of the fight. We have already spoken to those who where close to the area you were found in and they were not able to say much except that they saw a bright light flash and felt a powerful energy flow through the air. 

I stare at my Uncle for a moment surprised by hearing this information. I let the weight of his words sink deep in my mind before speaking. What powerful presence could they be talking about? Surely they don't mean me? My memories of just before I blacked out are still foggy so I can't say whether those words speak truth but I also can't find any fault in them to deny it. 

"We need to tell her." My Uncle looks to Alpha Dominic, determination clear in his tone. 

"Tell me what." I ask looking between my Uncle and Alpha Dominic.

"Let her tell us what she remembers first, she's not twenty one yet." Alpha Dominic states without looking at his Beta. His voice is calm and collected. 

"That doesn't matter anymore now that she has found her mate." My uncle counters. 

I give them both confused looks. Anger begins to boils in my veins as they talk to each other like I'm not present. 

"Excuse me what the hell is going on? What does my age or my mate have to do with anything?" My voice is steady a complete opposite of the feelings stirring inside of me. My birthday is not for another three months. 

"Vala do you have any idea what they are talking about?" If anyone might know if something was happening to us it would be my wolf.

"I'm not sure but lately I have been feeling stronger, I can feel some kind of power running through us but I'm not sure what it is." she says. 

"How long have you felt this for?" I ask.

"Since a couple months ago but it became more apparent after we found our mate. I'm sorry Ariella I was going to talk to you about it but I was excited to have found our mate."

I smile internally at her. "It's okay Vala I don't blame you for anything. We will figure this out together." She nods her head in agreement. 

Closing my eyes I let out a slow breathe. When I open them I look over at Alpha Dom and My uncle.

"If I tell you everything that has happened will you explain to me what you know." I look directly in their eyes. 

Uncle Ben looks down at Alpha Dom and than back to me. "Yes, tell us what happened."
