Gon and Killua stared at each other.
Gon waiting for Killua to say something and Killua shifting in his seat.
Killua licked his lips and then said. "I just want to apologize for a lot of things. Most likely just what happened yesterday morning.
Gon's eyes widen slightly.
He honestly thought Killua wouldn't apologize. At least think he wouldn't.
"Well before you apologize. I want to apologize first."
Killua's lips parted a bit to protest, but closed a moment after.
"I'm sorry for not listening to you about Mel... I ignored the little things he did to me, because I still wanted be friends because of the lil past we had. You know? .... I wasn't that oblivious to it. I simply thought I could deal with it."
"I'm not making sense am I." Gon added with a sigh.
"I fully understand what you're saying, and it's okay! I just thought you had...some type of interest or whatever...haha..." Killua rubbed the back of his neck.
Gon grinned a bit which sent Killua into lala world for a second.
"I accept your apology fully. I mean it." Killua nodded. Gon felt a swift feeling of relief blowing over him. Well at least he isn't being hated by Killua anymore.
"My turn." Killua added on with a smirk. Gon positioned himself to listen.
"I'm really sorry for yelling at you like that...I'm so so sorry.. I was just angry and confused..." Killua combed a hand through his white bangs.
Once Gon parted his lips to respond. Killua continued.
"I'm also guilty of calling you stupid, and a bitch, and there's more...Oh my god I'm so sorry. I really didn't mean it." Killua was shaking. He didn't know how Gon was gonna respond but he just wanted this to get out.
It went silent after Killua apologized, Gon took his time thinking during the uncomfortable silence of what to say.
He had much to say but...the only thing he full hearted wanted to say was...
"I'm sorry Killua...Even though I apologized and you did too...I can't really accept your apology like this."
...
"Oh..."
....
"I have your drinks ready! Here's your Frozen chocolate margarita" The waiter gently placed the drink in front of Killua and looked over to Gon. "And here's your water." She also placed it in front of Gon.
"I'll give you two a few more minutes to decide appetizers!" She walked off to the back of the restaurant
Gon and Killua were silent. Killua rephrasing the words Gon just said in his head and Gon waiting for what Killua would respond with.
"Oh...hah..well..I'll figure out another way to apologize to you...you know?" ...
"Sure" Gon observed.
...
The two were back, looking into the menu, for what types of appetizers they could get.
Killua was bummed (a lot) that Gon rejected his apology. Though he said everything he wanted to say...well not everything..he was able to tell Gon sorry.
"We should get calamari chips..." Gon inquired.
Killua looked up from the menu and nodded a bit. Staring a bit at Gon before looking back down at the menu.
