Mel and I continued down the long driveway towards the gates.

Once we got out the driveway gates, we headed down the street towards Mel's truck parked against the sidewalk.

I wondered on over to the other side of the truck and opened it after Mel unlocked it, and a beep of the truck went off.

I got in and sat, buckled up, and sighed a little too loud.

This is my 3rd time of ever going to a bar in my life.

yeah, I may have been a bit of a rebellious kid back in high school, but I never took the risk of trying to get into one. Neither making an effort to get into one at the age I am now, unless I get invited.

But I can tell you that I've had alcohol before, and when it comes to alcohol...I don't have that much of a tolerance.

"So..how many drinks your going to load up on?"

I just noticed, after being in my daze, we're currently on the road and down the street from Killua's Villa.

"Probably just two" I smiled gently.

"Awwwh! Come on Gon! You were a hell of a guy back in high school. I know you can drink more than that!" Mel remarked.

"Nah I'll stick with two." I assured.

"Party pooper" Mel looked over towards me and stuck his tongue out. He then turned away to the view of the road ahead.

We drove across Yorknew, enduring the painful traffic at some moments and looking up at huge buildings with labels planted on top.

We got to a part of the city that I've barely been to. The tall buildings were now a bit shorter, plants and trees were aligned in a stylish pattern, the sun was more visible, it was a beauty of an area. There were areas with stores all lined up and layers of parking lots

Mel drove into a small parking lot at the end of the plaza. There were neat buildings of all kinds that surrounded the parking lot, and at the end I could see a bar.

Mel parked right in front of the bar and you could see from the car a person, I assume to be a body guard, standing outside waiting.

Mel and I got out the car and started walking up.

"IDs please" the bodyguard asked us.

Mel pulled his out instantly, while I fumbled for my wallet in my pocket. By the time the guard was done checking Mel, I finally got my wallet out and pulled my ID out just in time.

They grabbed, examined my ID, and gave it back to me.

Now it's time for whatever is going to happen today.

Mel and I opened the door and saw the many who came this early to a bar. It was loud, kind of a comforting loud if I could call it that.

Walking over to the bar, I saw a few heads turn my way. Eye widening and curiosity was hitting the room. I didn't pay anymore attention to it.

We sat at the bar with available seats and menus neatly placed on the counter. We started preparing ourselves for what drink to order.

"So..what are you getting?" Mel asked.

I didn't really know what was a good choice. The last times I was at a bar I would usually get a Long Island Ice Tea or a small Margarita. Now...

"I can pick one for you"

I side-eyed Mel, thinking of a response to his offer.
