Hey guys! Just to clear things up; we're still on the first day of school. Yeah, I know I've been taking things slow.. :/ but just bare with me..
The banner is just something I found on tumblr.
* * *I sat in my next class next to Alexis, who was pretending nothing happened at lunch. I peered over to her, but she was skillfully avoiding my gaze. I cleared my throat, ready to say something, but the teacher started talking.
"Now class, did any of your teachers tell you about the new honors program?" The teacher, a young woman dressed officially, asked.
"Yes." The class groaned together.
"Alright. Well, you all know my class is the most fun." She winked. A lot of people groaned. "Anyways, we have a new student," she gestured to me, and I sat up a little straighter. "Piper?"
I nodded.
"I'm sure you've gotten to know some of your peers, but we're going to play a little game. To get to know each other. Everyone stand up please." After grumbling and shuffling, the entire class was standing. "Everyone introduce yourself and say one fact you would like everyone to know."
"I'll start!" It was that girl with the black hair from lunch. "I'm Kim. And I excel in cheerleading." She pressed the word 'excel'. Alexis snorted.
"My name is Alexis and I've been co-captain for 3 years." She said out loud.
"My name is Isaac and I'm sexy and you ALL know it." The class burst into laughter.
"My name is Veronica and I love the earth."
A few more people went, and it was Mark's turn.
"My name is Mark and I'm the best surfer and football player in town." He chuckled.
Aiden snorted so loud I thought for sure his brain was going to come out of his nose.
"Is there a problem, Aiden?" The teacher asked.
"No Ms, there's no problem..I'm just anehjctahboosheh." He mumbled the last part under his breath.
"Excuse me?" Our teacher walked over to Aiden. The whole class was looking.
"I..I'm just..allergic to bullshit." Aiden said, and the teacher raised her penciled-in eyebrows. "In fact, it's called Bullshitaphobia. It's actually a rare case. Not very common." Aiden went on.
I stifled any laughter I had when the teacher shot a glare around the room.
"You are lucky Mr. Tennyson that the dear principal ruled no detention on he first day of school." And with that, she turned to write on the board.
The rest of the class and the last one flew by and before I knew it the day was over. I walked out with Aiden.
"Bye Sprinkles." He said, locking his car and walking back towards the school.
"Woah woah where are you going?" I asked.
"Football tryouts." He raised his eyebrows.
I mentally screamed. I forgot all about cheerleading tryouts. Locking my car, I ran past Aiden, who watched me with a confused look. Walking out onto the field, I noticed a bunch of girls stretching in sweatpants. I mentally cursed myself for wearing jean shorts. Oh well, at least they were shorts.
I walked out onto the field, praying that I would look good. I noticed Aiden with a bunch of football players. Okay, now I'm praying that I look great. And I don't know why.
