Alana unknowingly held her breath, frozen in place as she tried her best not to move a single muscle.
"And, we're done," Mrs. Pierce fastened the pin that held the cloth in place on her waist, before standing back up. "You can breathe now, dear."
Alana let out the breath she was holding as both Mrs. Pierce and Miranda stepped back to take a look at the almost finished product. She turned around, looking at the large paneled mirror as she took in the sight of one of the semi-finalized costumes for her concert.
"I think this is one of my favorites," Alana turned around again to look at the back.
"I don't know how you do it," Miranda exclaimed happily. "You have such a beautiful figure and every outfit you wear seems to be made for you."
"That's only because I have an amazing team of stylists," winked Alana, giving both women a beaming smile. "I love it."
The dark tweed bodysuit hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her curves. Pops of white color was added to her collar and sleeves, creating the perfect contrast.
Deciding on concert costumes has always been one of Alana's favorite things to do. They could be as elaborate as she wanted them to be, and some of them were, while other costumes were more chic and simple. However, the ability to dance in these costumes and to change within the given times during the show was also important.
Miranda helped her slip on a pair of heeled combat boots that would go together with the costume.
"Now for the test," Alana murmured, before trying out the dance routines for one of her songs.
"Comfortable?" Asked Helen, keeping her eye on Alana as she moved about the room, jumping and running, making sure that both the shoes and the costume wouldn't get in the way of her performance.
To the outside world, she swore she probably looked crazy running around the office space like a headless chicken.
"Very," Alana said, surprised by the fact that the tweed material wasn't digging into her skin. She turned around once again. "You can't even see the zipper in the back."
Alana was quickly ushered back into the changing room, putting on a black and white plaid corset bodysuit tucked into a pair of matching plaid shorts. Only this time, instead of healed combat boots, they decided to pair the costume with knee-high boots.
Again, she could change easily in and out of this outfit since it was easily accessible, and moving around in it didn't bother her at all. She loved them. Now, all Helen and Miranda had to do was make final adjustments to the costumes, along with the other outfits she had tried on beforehand, and decide on the accessories that would go with these costumes.
A couple of hours had passed by quickly, and Alana was extremely happy with the progress made. She was in a Chanel Vintage cropped white top with a black skirt that opened up on the side when Asher waltzed in with four cups of coffee.
