Chapter 7: 2 years later; News

2 years later

"Okay everybody," I clapped my hands to get their attention," grab a partner! Today we will be sparing! Practicing our hands up defensive moves. Use your agility, be light on your feet. Be a snake; flexible. Be a tiger; fierce. Be a cheetah; fast. Be a flamingo; balanced and agile. But most of all be the dragon! Use all you know together; don't think! Let your instincts lead the way!"

I walked around the pairs sparing, giving out tips. It has been two years since I was accepted into Moonstone Pack, powers and all!

"Reagan! Relax a little your to tense! Deep breath and let your mind go blank! Let your instincts guide you!" I advised.

She took a deep breath and physically relaxed. When she opened her eyes again, she was dodging punches and kicks. In one swift movement she knocked her opponent to the ground an held him there with a foot to the chest.

Once everyone was done I started speaking." That was great! But everyone is having a little bit of a struggle relaxing, you need to trust your wolf to help you win! I will demonstrate, Cade! Care to spare with me!"

"Not at all," he said," lets do this!"

We took off running at each other. I gracefully twirled to the side past him, elbowing him in the back as I went. When he charged again I turned to a near by tree and ran full speed. Using my momentum I kicked off the tree and did a back flip over Cade. With how fast he was going he had absolutely no time to stop and slammed into the base of the pine. He staggered back like a dazed lamb, so I took it as a chance to pin him down. A roar of clapping exploded among the spectators.

Helping him up I thanked Cade. "Okay everyone practice using those techniques, so that next practice we can have a tournament to get your new rankings. You are dismissed!"

As I was packing up my bag I felt a tap on my shoulder l." Alpha Sean needs to see you." Natalia said.

"Thank you for telling me, Nate," I thanked the twelve year old girl ," I'll see you later."

I made my way up to the house and to the Alpha's office. I knocked and waited for a response. "Come in," was heard slightly audible from the muffling quality of the oak doors. Entering, i sat in a chair in front of the grand desk.

"You called me in,"I stated.

"Yes, Andrea. We have been asked by a neighboring pack to help strengthen their forces. They need our help to protect themselves. Now since you are the Head of our Attack Forces, I wanted to ask, if you would go and train them. You could take a couple of others to help." He said.

"Which pack is in need?" I asked, curious about what group was weak enough to need our help.

"Shalestone." He replied.
