Chapter 17

Eugeo's Pov
I stared at him in shock, Kirito jumped in front of me to block the attack but…. Instead he got hit, he now laid in front of me bleeding out onto the ground, he had been cut in two "Kirito….. no" I crawled over to him and lifted his head into my chest "no! Please!" I cried, Yui ran over to us and wiped my tears away "Daddy will be ok, he won't die his fluctlight will just be damaged" Yui reassured, I calmed down and nodded, I looked up at Administrator "You. Will. Pay" I looked back at Kirito and he winked at me "you got this Eugeo" he said in a horse voice, I smiled at him and nodded, I grabbed Kirito's sword as well as mine and jumped towards her, Kirito had recently started teaching me about duel wielding, hopefully I can put all that to put use.

Kirito's Pov
I watched as Eugeo attacked Quinella, I smiled at him, my omega, he was using the duel wielding skill that I recently taught him. "Good job Eugeo" I whispered, he's grown so much since I first met him, he was just a wood cutter, I giggled remembering what I kept telling myself whenever I thought about Eugeo the way I do, Shut up brain! Its strange thinking about that, cause it feels like I've always looked at Eugeo this way without hesitation. Quinella took a step backwards, I reached my hand out to Eugeo "if this place was made with the seed then" I thought about the commands I could use "system call, generate Midnight Cloak" Eugeo's coat glowed for a second, he seemed a bit shocked, he looked over at me and I smiled, his coat was replaced with the Midnight cloak. He looked back at Quinella "an omega, is only as strong as there alpha some say" Eugeo said, he pointed his sword at Quinella "but right now…. I'm stronger" he attacked Quinella again, this time his attacks were faster and stronger, I noticed the crystal Eugeo held before lying on the ground next to me, I reached out for it "Yui… can you please pass me that" I requested, Yui grabbed the crystal and gave it to me, it glowed in my hand.

In Alice's Memories
"Kirito! Eugeo! Why are you two lazing around?!" Alice yelled at two small boys, these boys were me and Eugeo, as children, I put my hands up in defence "we've been working all day and we are tired!" I yelled, Alice held a picnic basket in her hand "yeah Woodcutting is harder than it looks Alice…. Especially when its this tree" Eugeo said pointing at the tree, Alice sighed and sat down in front of us "you two are lucky I'm feeling generous" she said, setting up a picnic. The setting changed to the end mountains "I have a feeling that we're going the wrong way" Eugeo said holding onto my arm, I stood in front of him protectively "don't worry Eugeo, I'll protect you!" I said winking at him, Alice rolled her eyes "this should be the right way" she said smacking my head, I growled at her "Kirito!" Eugeo scolded, I sighed and continued walking, we saw a light at the end of the tunnel "see! I was right!" Alice started running towards the light "Alice! Slow down!" She suddenly stopped "no this wasn't the right way" I said looking around, I looked around where we were "this is" I paused "the dark territory!" Eugeo said hiding behind me, Alice looked up and noticed some knights fighting, one of them fell to the ground, he noticed Alice and reached out for her, Alice reached out her hand stepping towards him "Alice!" I yelled, Alice suddenly stopped and tripped over her foot. I tried to grab her and stopped her from falling but it was to late, she fell to the ground and she was touching the ground of the dark territory "m-maybe no one will know" Eugeo said hopefully, but he was wrong, a face appeared above us "report made, location set" it said, I hugged Eugeo and put his face in my chest to make sure he didn't see it, Alice on the other hand just stared at it. It disappeared and I looked at Alice "what do you think this means?" I asked Alice, she looked like she was about to cry "I just broke the taboo index!" She yelled. The setting changed I was in a room sitting on a bed, somebody knocked on the door and I went to open it, a tall woman stood in front of the door with Eugeo holding her hand "he wanted to come over, I don't want him so I just let him" the woman said in a harsh tone, Eugeo quickly ran towards me and hugged me "your mean! Don't be mean to your son!!" I yelled closing the door, Eugeo looked up at me "Kirito, will Alice be ok?" He asked, I thought "I wish I could tell you she'll be ok but…. I don't know" Eugeo started to tear up "wait Eugeo! Don't cry!" I said panicking, Eugeo kept trying to wipe his tears away but they kept pouring "I'm sorry…. I just" Eugeo kept crying, I hugged him and pat his back "shh it's ok" I whispered, Alice revealed herself "s-sorry I wanted to spend the night with you but…. My Dad wouldn't let me so I snuck out, I've been watching the whole time" she said quietly, Eugeo quickly went to hug her, I felt a bit jealous. The setting changed again and this time we were in rulid, Alice was chained to a dragon and I was being tackled to the ground "Eugeo!! Don't just stand there!" I yelled, Eugeo just stared as Alice was taken into the air "Alice!!" I yelled escaping the guards grip, I ran over to where Alice just was "Alice…." Eugeo whispered, he fell onto his knees crying, I sat next to him and gave him a hug while everyone else just went on with their day.

Reality
I opened my eyes and smiled "so, I did know them" I looked back up at Eugeo smiling "he's definitely grown from that boy who would hide behind me" I giggled. Quinella pushed herself away from Eugeo "this time, you win but I will be back" Quinella started to float away, Eugeo stared at her in anger, the clown grabbed a hold of her and caught fire. I couldn't hear what he was saying. All I could do was watch, he soon burned and so did she. The cloak on Eugeo transformed back into his coat, he faced me and kneeled down next to me "come back soon, Kirito…." He said lifting me into his chest "I'll try Euge-" suddenly my vision as replaced with glitches everywhere, I felt myself lose a grip on life.

Ojo's Pov
Me and Asuna quickly ran into the lab where Kirito and Tsuki were, the power just went out and who knows what could've happened to them, the lights went on again and Asuna got into the room before me, there was a moment of silence before I heard a scream, I quickly ran into the room to see Tsuki still sleeping peacefully in the bed with the white boxes over their face, on the other side was a horrifying sight, Kirito's eyes were red and puffy and blood poor from the side of his mouth and his nose, he didn't move an inch, Asuna went to check on him "please, please, please" she checked his pulse and started to tear up "no…." I put my hand on her shoulder "is he?" I whispered, Asuna looked up at me "h-he's dead…." She whispered.
