Chapter 13

Kirito's Pov
We were going up some stairs and Eugeo seemed more worried than before, what was with these weird dreams? What about them is making Eugeo so worried? I stopped infront of Eugeo and turned to face him "Tsuki wait for us here, I need to talk to Eugeo…." I grabbed Eugeo's hand and pulled him further up the stairs "Kirito? What are you doing?" Eugeo asked, I stopped when we were far enough for Tsuki not to hear "Eugeo please tell me what happened in your dream?" I asked, Eugeo looked down "I don't know if I can even begin to explain" he said fiddling with his jacket, I smiled at him "just try…." I put my hand on his cheek and he nodded "well, the dream was" he looked like he was thinking "I was running and I bumped into somebody, but I couldn't see who they were, it felt like they were somebody I trust, she sounded female and when I asked her for help…." Eugeo paused "she left me there, she said that you already think I'm dead so if I disappear nobody will notice" Eugeo looked a bit confused "the she said she could get closer to you by helping you morn me and eventually…. You two could be together" Eugeo teared up a bit, I pulled him into a hug "I won't leave you for anyone and if you ever died, I still wouldn't move on" I whispered in his ear, although the thought of him dying made me miserable, I don't know what I would do without Eugeo, he means everything to me. Two small girls showed up interrupting the moment "you two don't look like creatures from the dark territory" the blonde said, the brown haired one looked Eugeo up and down "no they really don't" she said, Eugeo turned to the girls smiling "because we aren't we are humans like you two" Eugeo explained to them, I noticed the pouches that their knifes were in, they are planning to parilize us. I started to whisper some sacred arts to myself, Eugeo looked up at me "right Kirito?" Eugeo asked, I nodded, the girls quickly grabbed out there knifes and stabbed me and Eugeo "you two are so stupid" they started dragging me and Eugeo further up the stairs, Eugeo stared at me, not that he could stare at anything else, in all honesty I could move by now but I'll wait, I winked at Eugeo and his eyes widened. They led us into a room with a bunch of other integrity knights "no need to try and fight them, they both fell for our trick and now look at them" I slowly and sneakily grabbed one of their knifes "now we can easily kill them, but we wanted you guys to see so you know who beat these-" I cut both of them and they fell to the ground "h-how can you m-move?" One of them asked, I stood up "well I noticed the type of wood that was used for your knife pouches, it's normally used for blades with a paralizing effect" I explained "so while you guys and Eugeo were chatting away, I started to resite my sacred arts" I walked up to Eugeo and gave him a potion to de-paralize him "should start working soon, just try to move" I whispered "when your able to move wait for my signal and then use your Enhance Armorment" I stood up and looked at the other integrity knights,  they all stood there in shock of what just happened, except for one, this knight was wearing purple armor, I grabbed out my sword "I am no creature of the dark territory, I am Kirito the black swordsman!" I yelled, they all look at the purple integrity knight, she raised her sword in the air "well Kirito, you will meet your end today!" She pointed her sword at me and all the integrity knights attacked at once. This was going to be difficult.

Eugeo's Pov
I looked over to Kirito who was inspecting the integrity knight, we both found out she was female but of course Kirito didn't treat her any differently than he would another swordsman. Kirito grabbed out the knife that was meant for the administrator "Kirito what are you doing?" I asked, he looked at me "she's bleeding out! We can't let her die!" He lifted her hand and gently pierced the skin a bit "my goodness Kirito, you are truly a 'hero'" we heard cardinal say as the integrity knight disappeared "I'll take care of her, you to continue on your way" she said calmly. Kirito smiled and stood up "wwhere have you two been?!" Me and Kirito jumped, luckily it was just Tsuki "oh Tsuki! Uh its a long story" Kirito giggled, Tsuki walked up to him and smacked his head "ouch! Even when you don't have you memories you never change do you?" Kirito said rubbing his head "yeah, yeah let's go" Tsuki began walking again. 

Kirito's Pov
Something was still bothering Eugeo, I could tell, but it wasn't about the dream he told me about, it was something else, I looked at Eugeo who seemed to be thinking "Eugeo…. There's something else bothering you, isn't there?" I asked, Eugeo tensed up "N-no…." He stuttered, I rolled my eyes "your a horrible liar Eugeo, whatever it is you can tell me" I said calmly, Tsuki looked at Eugeo a bit confused "it doesn't matter" Eugeo said, he continued walking, I put my hand on his shoulder stopping him "Eugeo…. Please its been bothering you this whole time…. So obviously it does matter" I gave him a sympathetic look, Eugeo looked down "ok but promise you won't do anything stupid because of it" Eugeo said quietly, I nodded "I promise" I put my hand against my chest, Eugeo looked up at me "before the dream I told you about…. I had another dream, except, it was from your point of view Kirito" I continued to listen "you were…. Holding my hand while I was…. I lying on the ground bleeding out and when I finally died, you screamed out to me hoping I would come back but it was too late" Eugeo looked away from me, I was shocked. I thought about what Eugeo just said, he can't die, I won't let that happen. I pulled Eugeo into a hug "its ok Eugeo, that won't happen, it was just a dream" Eugeo hugged me back, Tsuki looked at us and smiled, I haven't seen her smile in a while "alright we should get going lovebirds" Tsuki started to walk again. We got to another floor and Tsuki stopped at the door "there is another integrity knight behind these doors, so be prepared to fight" Tsuki said, I nodded and grabbed my sword, Eugeo grabbed out his sword and gave a thumbs up. Tsuki opened the doors and there was an integrity knight waiting on top of the stairs, they wore red armor, I saw Eugeo stare at him in shock "Kirito…. That's the knight that took Alice!" Eugeo said pointing to the knight, I looked back at the knight, they looked familiar, but I couldn't quite figure out why, the knight grabbed their bow and aimed at us "your journey ends here!" They yelled, they fired the bow and I pushed Eugeo out of the way "Eugeo concentrate!" I yelled as I landed on top of him, I quickly stood up "what if…." I remembered one of my skills that I learnt from GGO "only one way to find out I guess" Eugeo stood up "Kirito he's about to fire again!" Tsuki yelled, the knight fired at me and I stood ready for the arrow to hit, when it got close enough I deflected the arrow with my sword "it worked!" I whispered to myself, they continued firing and I deflected every single arrow that came towards me, Eugeo came out from behind me and ran towards the knight following my actions and deflecting the arrows "you took Alice!!" Eugeo yelled, he attacked the knight from up close, I could tell from way he was attacking he was trying to kill the integrity knight "damn it! Eugeo!" I ran towards him and blocked his attack to the knight "Eugeo! Your completely blinded by rage! This knight doesn't deserve to die!" I yelled, Eugeo stepped back "I don't remember taking away an Alice, what do you speak of?" The knight asked, Eugeo looked even more angry now "how could you not remember! Alice Zuberg! From Rulid Village! She accidentally went into the dark territory by falling over and touching the ground! She was a child and you took her away from everyone she loves because of an accident!!!" Eugeo yelled, his eyes appeared to be glowing "Eugeo! I think his memory's of Alice were blocked!" Eugeo looked at me with a confused looked, I turned and faced the knight "think about it Eugeo, if a knight knew who another knight was and where they are from that would ruin the idea that the knight were summoned from the heavens, there for" I looked over my shoulder at Eugeo "he doesn't remember taking Alice away" I explained, Eugeo thought about it "I guess your right" Eugeo admitted, I nodded and looked at the knight "I'll take care of this Eugeo" I attacked the knight again. Eventually he fell to the ground in defeat "I give in, you win" he admitted, I nodded "I won't kill you but I will tell you that you were somebody before this" I looked over at Eugeo and Tsuki "lets go guys" Tsuki nodded, Eugeo smiled at me "thanks for stopping me from doing something I would regret" Eugeo said, I nodded and put my arm around his shoulder "no problem, I know all about regret, especially when it come to killing" I said, my voice was full of regret "its ok Kirito, you did what you had to" Eugeo said, I nodded and let go of Eugeo.
