A few days later, Haera came to the class feeling very weak and her face look so pale. "Are you okay?" asked Hanbin in worried. "Yeah im fine... I've ate some painkillers just now because im having a little bit of headache..." answered Haera. "You can skip the class for today if you want..." said Hanbin as he fix her jacket because the weather is getting a bit colder than before. "Don't worry, I'll be fine... I have quiz later on so I have to come..." said Haera. After they've reached her lecture hall, the bid their goodbyes. "Call me if anything happens, alright?" said Hanbin and Haera nodded weakly. "arasseo~" waved Haera and she entered the lecture hall.
After Haera entered the lecture hall, she saw Sehun has already seated in his usual seat while reading some notes. Sehun who noticed a familiar figure was coming towards him and looked up. He saw Haera was coming towards him looking very weak and she looked very pale. "Yah Haera, are you alright?" asked Sehun. "Oh, hi Sehun," greeted Haera as she took a seat next to him. "Yeah, im fine..." answered Haera as she gave him a weak smiles. "I don't think you're okay..." said Sehun in worry as he touched her forehead.
"Yah, you have a fever... why did you come to class? And you looked very pale today...." Worried Sehun. "We have quiz today so I have to come..." said Haera "yah, your health is important... quiz you can take on different days..." said Sehun. "Don't worry, I'll be home after this..." said Haera as she took out her pen and getting ready to answer the quiz as their lecturer has entered the hall. "Promise me later you'll go to the clinic?" said Sehun and Haera nodded "I promise." Said Haera. Then, both of them took out a piece of paper and getting ready to answer the quiz.
A few hours later, after the quiz ended Haera bid Sehun a goodbye. Sehun had offered her a ride but she told him she's going to wait for Hanbin. "Goodbye Sehun" said Haera and she felt very weak like she has no energy at all and her head is getting dizzy. "Yah, your nose... blood was running down from your nose..." said Sehun in worry and during that time, Haera did not hear anything and her vision has turned into purple and yellow. And without she know, her vision had turned black and she fainted.
"YAH HEARA-AH!" shouted Sehun and luckily he caught her before she fell. "Yah, wake up!" said Sehun as he shook her but Haera did not move an inch. "Shit." Cussed Sehun and he carried her to his car. "Haera please wake up. You scared me." Said Sehun before he drives. While he was on his way to the hospital, he had called Hanbin. The phone was ringing a few times before Hanbin could pick up. "Yah Kim Hanbin... Haera just fainted just now and Im bringing her to the hospital." Said Sehun.
"She fainted?!" surprised Hanbin "yah, Sehun hurry and bring her to the hospital and told them she's Dr. Kim Jaehwan's patient... I'll be meeting you there." Said Hanbin and hung up the phone. After he hung up the phone, Sehun felt weird. *Dr. Kim Jaehwan's patient? Why does it sound like she had a regular check up there?* thought Sehun for a while. A few minutes later, before he knew they've reached the hospital. As soon as he reached the hospital, he carried Haera to the emergency unit and told the nurses about what Hanbin had said.
A few seconds later, a doctor who was in 40's came towards her bed and check up on her. "is there something happen to her before she fainted?" asked Dr. Kim "nothing odd it's just blood was running down through her nose..." answered Sehun and he was really worried about her. "Will she be fine doctor?" asked Sehun "will you wait outside because I need to make a check up on her..." said the doctor and before Sehun could say anything, the nurses had closed the curtain.
While waiting for Haera, Sehun was waiting on a seat that has been provided when suddenly, Hanbin came into the emergency room while panting. "Is she alright? What did the doctor said?" asked Hanbin towards. "Yah, just what is wrong with her?! Will you tell me?!" shouted Sehun and he grabbed his collar. "It's just a slight fever nothing more..." answered Hanbin. "Liar! If not why she has her own specialize doctor? It's like she had come here regularly! Is she sick?" asked Sehun and before Hanbin could answer, Dr. Kim came towards them.
"Can I talk to you both for a minute?" said Dr. Kim and they both nodded. "im sorry to tell you that Haera couldn't live long... no matter what she says, she has to stay in the hospital... I need to take care of her and she needs to be under my care everyday... if not, I can't help you to save her... she doesn't have much time to survive..." said Dr. Kim and that really surprised Sehun. "What do you mean that she can't survive and doesn't have much time?" asked Sehun and tears was about to fell from his eyes. "im sorry, that's all I can tell you..." said Dr. Kim and he walked away.
Then, Sehun saw Hanbin was squatting down and he saw him crying. "Yah, get up. Tell me what is wrong with Haera! Yah, tell me!" said Sehun. Then, Hanbin begins to tell Sehun what kind of sickness Haera was facing too and told him that she can't survive. "So she could be gone anytime now?" asked Sehun and Hanbin nodded. Before he knows, tears were dropping from his eyes. "It can't be..." said Sehun sadly and he too, cried together with Hanbin. *im sorry Haera but Sehun has to know* thought Hanbin.
A few hours later, after Sehun had calmed down he went to Haera's ward and found her parents and Hanbin was there in the room. "annyeong haseyo," bowed Sehun and introduce himself. Then, they talk for a while with his parents while Hanbin excuses himself. Then, after Hanbin went home, her parents wanted to go home to make some dinner for both Haera and Sehun. "Mrs. Goo, its okay... you don't have to make the dinner for me... I can buy something from downstairs..." smiled Sehun. "But you told me you will be with her tonight so you might get hungry..." said Mrs.Goo. "it's okay, just have a rest at home and I'll take care of her... if there's anything, I'll let you know..." smiled Sehun. Then, both of her parents went home after they gave a kissed to their only daughter.
At midnight, Sehun was sitting near Haera's bed while caressing her hair softly. "Haera –ah... wake up please... you scared me...." Said Sehun sadly and he brushed Haera's hair and suddenly, Sehun dropped his tears. "Why don't you tell me, that you're sick..." said Sehun "why... and the doctor told me that you couldn't live long..." added Sehun while crying holding her hand.
On the next day, Haera woke up feeling better than yesterday and found out that she was not in her room. *where am i?* thought Haera as she sat up when she felt that someone was holding her hand. "Sehun?" said Haera. She found that he was in deep sleep and Haera brushed his hair with a smile plastered in her face. *thank you* thought Haera. Sehun who was sleeping noticed that someone was playing with his hair. As soon as he opened his eyes, he saw Haera was in front of him, smiling. "Haera-ah~" said Sehun and he straight away hugged her. "You got me so worried yesterday don't you ever do like that again..." said Sehun
"Sehun, im fine today.... Im sorry..." pouted Haera cutely as she broke the hug. "Why didn't you tell me? Why did you keep it as a secret?" asked Sehun looking at Haera. *he knows about it* thought Haera as she looked down. "Mind telling me?" said Sehun gently. "It's because I don't want to look weak in front you..." answered Haera. "It's embarrassing you seeing me like this...." Added Haera. "You don't have to be embarrassed being like this..." said Sehun and before he could add anything, Haera cut his words.
"It's because I like you, Sehun..." said Haera.
