Ever since Hanbin left South Korea, Haera condition is getting worse than ever. Her hair starts to fall a lot and blood kept running down through her nose and if she had a fever, she can't even get up from her bed. She did went to the hospital for a check-up but then, as stubborn as she is, she still refuse to listen to what the doctor has said. Haera was in her house making some brunch for her to eat when suddenly, when Haera was about to take some muffin in the refrigerator, Haera felt dizzy. *gosh I don't feel so good right now* thought Haera and took some pills.
But before she could eat the pills, her vision started to turn into yellow and purple. When Haera wanted to take a sit on a chair, her vision had turned black and without she knows, she had fell down in the kitchen. Sehun who was about to visit Haera in her house notice the silence after three times of knocking the door. *weird. Her mom told me she's home* thought Sehun. When he tried to turn the doorknob, he noticed that it was opened. Sehun was really scared if the house got robbed or something, so he hurriedly went into the house, yelling her name.
"Haera-ah~" called Sehun but it was pin drop silence. He saw the television in the living room is turned on. "Yah, Haera-ah~" called Sehun again. But then, as soon as Sehun reached the kitchen, he saw Haera was lying on the floor looking very pale. "My god, Haera-ah!" yelled Sehun as he brought near him. "Wake up!" said Sehun but Haera did not flinch at all. Then, with trembling hands, Sehun called an ambulance to her house. "Oh come on Haera, please tell me this is a joke. Please... wake up!" said Sehun as he brought her in his embrace. "Please Haera... don't do this to me..." whispered Sehun as he cried.
As soon as they reached the hospital, the doctor began to check up on her and Sehun called her parents. After a few minutes of waiting, the doctor came out from the room. "Doctor, is she alright?" asked Sehun in worry. "For the time being, she is still okay.... She is currently sleeping... but this time, please listen to me, that she must stay in the hospital... so we can treat her better..." answered the doctor. "She has not much time young man..." added the doctor and walked away.
'She has not much time' were lingering in Sehun's ears as he entered the ward, looking at his girlfriend lying on the bed not knowing anything.
"At least let me take you to see the first snow..." muttered Sehun alone while caressing her hands tightly. *please open your eyes Haera... please...* thought Sehun. A few hours later, her parents came and Sehun excuse himself. Because he really need to calm down and wait for Haera to open her eyes patiently. While having some tea alone in the cafeteria, Sehun took out his phone and text Hanbin.
"I don't know what to say right now,
But ever since you went to Japan, Haera's condition is getting worse...
I found her lose conscious at the kitchen today,
And she's currently in the hospital now...
The doctor told me she doesn't have much time,
So if you really wants to see her, you can meet her in the hospital..."
After Sehun send the text, he put his phone on his side and buried his face in his arms on the table and let out a very deep sigh. *Haera-ah* thought Sehun and without he realized, he cried again.
On the next day, Sehun woke up and he found Haera was still in her deep sleep. While Sehun was wiping her hands gently with a wet towel, he saw Haera fluttered her eyes open. "H-Haera?" called Sehun as he went near her. "Sehun..." said Haera in her lower voice. "Finally, you're awake..." said Sehun feeling very thankful and he hurriedly called the doctor. A few minutes later, the doctor came with a few nurses to have a check up on her.
"how is she doctor?" asked Sehun "she's very weak and we have to give drips on her... and please make sure she eats her meal... and later on, I would like to discuss something with her parents and you... alright?" said the doctor and Sehun nodded. "Alright, thank you doctor..." bowed Sehun. After they left, Haera had called for Sehun. "Sehun, where am i?" asked Haera "you're in the hospital... I found you fainted yesterday and I brought you here..." answered Sehun. Then, Haera wanted to sit up and Sehun help her.
"Are you hungry? Do you want some breakfast?" asked Sehun "your mom came this morning and brought some rice porridge for you..." said Sehun as he took out the porridge for him to feed her. "Here," said Sehun as he held out the spoon to feed her and Haera opened her mouth and eat the porridge slowly. "Sorry," said Haera suddenly. "What for?" asked Sehun as he feed her again. "I scared you yesterday..." answered Haera in her lower voice. "Hey," said Sehun "this is why im scared to be in a relationship... I will only burden you..." said Haera and Sehun saw that she was crying.
With that, Sehun put down the bowl that fill with the rice porridge and brought Haera's face to look on him. "Hey," said Sehun. "Didn't I told you? Sick or not, you will still be my girlfriend..." continued Sehun as he wiped her tears. "Having you woke up today is enough to make me happy~" added Sehun while looking at his sobbing girlfriend. "Come on, stop crying... you looked funny~" said Sehun trying to make jokes and starts to feed her again. "Yah..." whined Haera making Sehun chuckled.
A few hours later, her parents came and Sehun told them that the doctor wanted to meet them. "Aren't you following them?" asked Haera "I rather be here with you~" said Sehun as he took her hands and kissed it making her blush. "You know, starting from today no matter what you have to stay here... it's for your own good..." said Sehun but before Haera could say anything "no ifs and buts from you... this is for your own good... If you want to go somewhere, we could ask the permission from the doctor and I will bring you..." said Sehun "is that okay?" asked Sehun and Haera pouted "arasseo..." said Haera.
A few minutes later, her parents came in and went Mrs.Goo went to attend her daughter, Mr.Goo called Sehun asking him to meet him outside. "what did the doctor said Mr.Goo?" asked Sehun "the doctor told us that she has to go under surgery and it will be held on a day after tomorrow..." answered Mr.Goo but judging by his voice, Sehun know there will be something that might happen on her. "But he told us he is not 100% sure that surgery will go well..." added Mrs.Goo.
With that, Sehun didn't care if he was with Mr.Goo but his tears just came out and he cried in front of Mr.Goo. "Im sorry young man, I know you love her and we really love our daughter too... let's just pray to god that everything will be fine..." said Mr.Goo as he hug Sehun trying to calm him down. After he calmed down, Sehun excuse himself because he need to be alone right now. Sehun went to the rooftop of the hospital and took out his phone.
"Yah, when are you coming back?" asked Sehun.
"Maybe on the day after tomorrow... why? Is Haera alright?" asked Hanbin.
With that question, Sehun remained silent trying to hold back his tears.
"Yah, tell me." Said Hanbin
"You better be here early because Haera will be having a surgery on the day after tomorrow" said Sehun.
"Really? I try to be there early no matter what." Said Hanbin
"You better be here dude. The doctor don't know if the surgery could went well or not." Said Sehun
With that, Sehun cried again and hung up his phone. At the thought of losing his one and only girlfriend made him cried very had.
