The way that she was kissing him was making Anirudh feel like he could be sent to his death. He didn't know how he was going to keep a handle on himself if she was doing all of this to him. Anirudh returned her kisses, his fingers caressing her hair.

He was not going to touch her anywhere other than the respectful places of her body, and that was an unspoken value that he had. He would not assume that he could go ahead and touch her. She would have to tell him first before he even thought that way.

Bondita on the other hand was freely touching him -- her hands were now on the buttons of his shirt, tugging at them gently. She was nervous to unbutton his shirt, but she managed to slide her fingers within the spaces between the buttons, caressing the skin inside.

Anirudh was about to lift his head back to catch his breath, but Bondita just used one of her hands to hold the back of his head, pulling him closer, not allowing him to go.

He smiled against her lips as she continued to kiss him passionately.

They were interrupted by a knock, and Anirudh moved his lips off hers. She got off the desk and Bondita looked at him, afraid.

He quickly licked his lips and reached for Bondita, running his hands through her hair and fixing it. Then he bent down to fix the pleats of her saree.

Bondita just looked at Anirudh with a small smile on her lips. He was making sure she looked presentable. His own hair was messy and his shirt wasn't tucked in properly, but he was more worried about her.

They knocked on the door again.

"One minute!" Anirudh called, and stood up, touching the sides of her hair again and running his fingers through them. "You look good."

Bondita smiled and reached up to fix his hair.

"There," Bondita said.

He started to go towards the door, but Bondita took his hand to stop him. "Wait... one more thing," she said and touched his shirt, a little nervously, before starting to tuck it in his pants.

Her hand was shaking. Anirudh looked at this act of hers and smiled. He placed his hand over hers and leaned closer to her ear, whispering, "You can do whatever you want to me later."

Bondita blushed and turned around to organize the files on the desk. Anirudh quickly fixed his own shirt and went to open the door. His clients had arrived.

They were two brothers who were having land disputes with their neighbour.

Bondita was sitting next to Anirudh, quietly observing and watching how he did his work. For now, she wanted to learn from him. She got her degree, but she didn't have practical knowledge of this field. If she observed him, then she would also be able to effectively help him later on, and then go on to fulfill both of their dreams.

After they were done meeting the clients for the day, Anirudh looked at Bondita with a smile.

"Hungry?" he asked her.

She looked down at his lips and nodded. She was hungry in many ways.

Anirudh laughed and opened the door.

"Let's go and eat something," he offered. "I'll take you to a nice restaurant."

Bondita's eyes lit up.

"Wow a restaurant!" she said excitedly.

Even though there were restaurants in London, she was so busy with studying that she had only gone a few times.
