Sofia's POV
'Is she crazy?' I thought while looking at my sister, Samantha.
I was looking at her for a couple of minutes now and within those minutes, I noticed that she's smiling so wide but she's not even talking to anyone, she's just sitting on the bench of our garden alone.
"Should I call our parents now and inform them that their eldest is not in her right mind anymore?" I spoke from behind and I saw her falter.
"You startled me!" She said but mind you, she's still smiling so wide.
"You're starting to creep me out," I said while eyeing her suspiciously.
Don't get me wrong. She looks so much better when she's smiling and I am happy that she looks happy but I am not just used to it.
"W-Why?" She asked then looked at me curiously.
"You went here in the garden smiling a while ago and you just walked past me and didn't notice me and up until now you're still smiling like a creep" I explained while still eyeing her suspiciously.
"Ohh" The only thing she said before she blushed.
'I am smelling something here' I thought while observing her thoroughly.
"Who is he?" I asked, hand placed on my hip.
"H-he, who?' She asked back but continued to avoid looking at me.
'There's definitely going on here' I thought.
"Dummy, of course, the boy who made you smile like a fool," I said as a matter of fact to my smart yet dumb sister.
"Can't I just smile as normal people do?" She asked then arches her eyebrow.
'What a smooth way to lie, Samantha Miller' I thought.
'But I know you better. You tend to wrap up conversations by firing another question to cover what you're hiding' I thought again while smirking knowingly at myself.
"Alright. Then allow me to rephrase my question..." I said and sat beside her so I can fully see her reaction.
I wanted to burst out laughing when I saw beads of sweat started forming on the side of her forehead indicating that she's nervous.
I decided to play a little bit first so I placed my hands on both sides of her head to make her look at me before I spoke.
"Who is she?" I asked jokingly but her response to the question made me think if it is still a joke.
Her eyes widen and before she can get out from my hand that is holding her head, I saw how flushed her cheeks were.
"Samantha" I called her out while shock is evident on my face.
She didn't budge so I was forced to make her look at me.
"Who is she?" I asked again but this time, it's more sincere and careful.
She looks scared and unsure so I placed my hand on hers for her to know that I am sincere and wouldn't judge her.
I nodded when I saw that she's hesitating. I will not convince her to tell me the truth for now. I'll just let the time comes when she can now be ready to tell me.
"It's okay. I love you and I support you" I said and engulfed her into a tight hug.
"Thank you" I heard her mutter softly before hugging me back.
Samantha's POV
One of the people that I really love and thankful that I have is my sister. Despite being older than her, she tends to act as if I am the one that needs protection and care and I couldn't ask for more.
