Ivory's POV
I am currently waiting for Samantha to arrive here at school. I will not leave that girl alone until she'll finally join the team because thinking about it, Samantha had already made herself invisible for too long and letting people to see some part of her wouldn't hurt at all.
"You think you can persuade her to join the team?" Avril asked while also looking at the door, waiting for Samantha.
"Not a hundred percent sure because that girl is so obsessed with being invisible" I replied simply.
"If you can't then why not seek help from people that you think can make her join?" Avril brilliantly said and my face lit up.
"Damn, Avril. You're right!" I excitedly said.
She just smiled cockily at me.
"We'll be going to talk to someone later. Accompany me" I said and looked at her meaningfully.
She just nodded before returning to her seat which she looks dreaded doing so.
Samantha's POV
I was a bit late because Sofia kept bothering me to join their team as well. I didn't even doubt that she already knew it since she's part of it after all.
When I entered the room, Ivory caught my attention because she's looking at me weirdly and meaningfully as if she's planning something. The last time she gave me that look was the time that she talked to my boy crush during junior high school and asked him if he knew me which, of course, he had no idea.
She's crazy sometimes but I still love her.
"Morning" I softly and quietly greeted Isabelle which she replied with a nod a small curve on her lips. Enough response to make my heart flutter.
As usual, she looks refreshing and addicting to look at and so I can't take my eyes off her but I need to when our teacher entered the room and made her way in front.
"Since I am your homeroom teacher, I am the one responsible to inform you that our women's volleyball team are looking for participants that are willing to join them for the incoming sports fest," She said straight to the point.
Everyone fell silent but their faces scream excitement about the sports fest.
"Is anyone interested?" She asked while roaming her eyes to see if someone is willing to join.
"Ms. Anderson?" Our teacher called Isabelle because we all know that she used to play way back in junior high but everyone was shocked when Isabelle suddenly quit the team and the next thing that happened was she became the student council's president.
It was a bit strange but she became more powerful and known when she got the president's position.
When Isabelle didn't answer, our teacher then asked everyone again but no one dared to talk.
She was about to dismiss the topic when my precious best friend decided to make me the center of attention.
"Samantha knows how to play," Ivory said and all eyes quickly directed in my direction.
My eyes widen and my cheeks blushed. I have never been the brutal type but right now, all I want is to do everything, even in the most violent way, just so Ivory will not spill something about me again.
"Really?" Our teacher asked. She sounds surprised yet happy.
Before I can deny what Ivory said, she replied to our teacher's question herself.
"Yes. In fact, she can play so well and manipulate the ball perfectly" She said, sounding so proud and boastful.
I'll surely kill you, Ivory Brown.
