Samantha's POV

I just arrived home after the date with Isabelle and here I am, being observed and looked at suspiciously by my nosy sister as I went home with a bunch of shopping bags.

I didn't let Isabelle drive me to our house. I just told her to drop me back off at the school and even though she was persistent, I convinced her in the end and so I called my driver to pick me up when I was sure that Isabelle's car was already gone.

As I said, Sofia is looking at me suspiciously and I regret not formulating a good lie beforehand.

"Did you legitimately bought all of these?" She asked as if she can't believe that I did go home with all of the items that Isabelle bought for me.

"I did" I simply said, hoping to stop her from questioning me.

"I don't believe you. You rarely spend money!" She said and I couldn't help but laugh because she's right.

"I need them so I bought them. End of the story" I said with finality.

"But—" She said but I spoke.

"Ciao," I said and went upstairs with all the shopping bags.

"I will tell it to Mom and Dad!" She shouted but I just laugh knowing that they will just start encouraging me to spend more because I rarely do.

I opened all the bags and I just sighed after seeing that there are just too many of them.

While putting the clothes inside my walk-in closet, I couldn't contain my smile by just thinking about Isabelle and her gestures. She often feared because of how cold she is but as I becoming closer to her, I found out that she can be soft, warm, and a total ball of sunshine.

The mere thought of going to school tomorrow and seeing her again is enough to make me happy and contented. I didn't bother to eat anymore because I am still full and our parents aren't also here so I decided to change and clean myself so I can now sleep.

After a couple of minutes, I dozed off already.

***********

"Look at that curve and slender legs!" Sofia said as she barged into my room.

"Knock" I demanded while putting all the things that I will be needing inside the gym bag that Isabelle bought for me.

Sofia ignored what I said and went closer in my direction.

"Are you ready to go to school without glasses and just wearing a volleyball uniform?" She asked while lying cozily in my bed.

"To be honest, I still feel uncomfortable," I said honestly to her.

"Don't be. You look like a freaking model for a high-class sports brand right now" She said and I smiled for her effort to boost my confidence.

"Silly" I replied.

"I'm just glad that students are not allowed to enter the gym while we are still training," I said again while looking at her.

"Yeah. They are just some bunch of distractions" She said and I chuckled.

"Let's go?" I asked and she nodded.

We both enter our car and our driver drove us to school.

I was glad that there were still not many students when I entered the school so I went straight to the gym.

Some of the players who saw me enter the gym seems to be stunned but I didn't bother to figure out if their reaction is positive or not when our coach suddenly showed up and made us exercise and do the common volleyball drills.
