LUKE'S POV

The boys and I were in our disguises sat on a blanket eating mac and cheese out of our blue and white container. We all cleaned up our mess and Calum was carrying the blanket. There was dozens of people surrounding a bench underneath a tree.

"Guys, do you have any idea what all of those people are doing over there?" Calum wondered aloud.

"Not a clue," Ashton said, trying to look around the growing crowd.

As we strolled towards the packed area of people, we ducked our heads, so we were not noticable by any fans. As we took countless steps, we could hear the tune louder and louder. Michael looked at me in awe, as we heard the farmilliar song, Amnesia. We listened intently to the sound of her voice. It was breath taking. She sounded soothing and the strumming of the guitar was just as entertaining.

Once she finished the song, we waited for everyone to leave. It eventually cleared out and we could see a perfect view of the girl singing. She has jet black hair, with a blonde ombre, that was just starting to fade. Her eyes were hazel, and were obvioulsy filled with sorrow. I could easily tell she was trying to hide that fact.

The boys were talking to her and I just stood there, admiring every feature of her face, to her eyes, to her lips. She had no makeup on, which I prefered because her natural features were beautiful. All I heard was "You're 5 Seconds of Summer."

"Yeah we are," I chimed in.

"I know this may seem crazy, but could you drive me to the airport?" she asked politley. "I can buy a plane ticket and everything, I am just trying to get out of the country."

All of us exchanged looks of pity. We were telling eachother things with our eyes. Finally, Michael spoke up, "Sure, but what's your name?"

"My name is Violet, now can we leave?" she hugged all of us and we lead her to the van.

Five minutes passed by and no one has said a single word. "So, why are you running away?" Calum blurted.

I punched him on the arm for asking such a question. She is obviously leaving for a reason. "Um, I had a tragic past," is all she replied with.

I had so much sympathy for her. I could tell that she didn't want it. Violet wanted all the pain that keeps haunting her soul to leave. Honestly, whatever is hurting her, must be horribe because she's leaving the country. We left her off at a terminal in JFK airport. "Thanks for everything," she 'smiled'.

I knew the smile was not genuine. I hope I run into her again because I want to finish reading that book.

VIOLET'S POV

I walked through the sliding doors and went to the front desk. "Hello," the lady said.

"Hi, could I have a plane ticket to London?" I asked.

"Sure, the next flight leaves in an hour, here's the ticket. That will be $150 please."

I handed her the money and went through security. I did all of the things you do at an airport, with just enough time to get settled onto the airplane. I sat in my seat putting my one and only bag up into the top compartment. I sighed and could only feel the hole in my heart again. I couldn't believe I had enough courage to leave. I was not going to an adoption center. Not in a million years, I just hope that my parents are watching over me and give me the best abillity to not drown in my past.
