thirty five

the sun shines upon the swollen eyelids of jisoo's. she gradually opens her eyes, rubbing them before getting out of her bed. she washed up and changed into fresh clothes.

just as she opens her kitchen cabinets she hears a familiar voice shout. jisoo recognized that voice too well that she left whatever she was doing and dashed outside.

sohyun was held back by joohyuk, her hair was all over her face with her face turning almost red with anger. opposite to sohyun and joohyuk was julie but she had a person before her. it was jimin.

jisoo rubbed her forehead in frustration. just as sohyun and jisoo lock eyes, sohyun pounced on jisoo, hugging her tightly. jisoo took a few steps backwards from the impact of the hug.

jisoo forced a smile, patting sohyuns back. "it's fine, leave her be. let's just.." jisoo sighs "mind our own business." sohyun shakes her head furiously, her eyes shooting towards julie.

within seconds sohyun was on top of julie, her fist in the air almost ready to swing at her. jimin pushed sohyun back rather too harshly that sohyun got a few cuts on her elbow.

jisoo and joohyuk run towards sohyun, checking up on her and helping her stand up. "jimin don't you think you're taking this too far?" joohyuk says, now in a furious state.

"'no one likes her! why is she still here?" joohyuk shouts, his face now an inch away from jimins. "joohyuk, she's not leaving. you guys are being too harsh on her." jimin defends, not letting his stance down.

julie grabs his shoulder, "let's just leave" jimin looks back sternly "no." is all he says, backing up and catching a quick glimpse of jisoo before grabbing julies hand and leaving.

"that bastard really changed." joohyuk spits out. jisoo clears her throat, "let's just leave them be guys. i'll be leaving." jisoo says, hugging sohyun and joohyuk then entering her home.

sohyun stares at her best friend enter her house with sadness and pity in her eyes. "she doesn't deserve any of this." sohyun chokes out, tears falling down her cheeks.

joohyuk is quick to hug her. "i know." his big hands on her head in a calming way. "she deserves better." sohyun cries on his chest. "i wish i can take her sadness away from her." she cries more.

"i wish too." joohyuk sighs as he looks up toward the sky, trying to hold back his tears. "let's go before she comes out and scolds us." joohyuk says. sohyun nods, leaving with him.
