"jisoo!" sohyun runs over to the tired figure, laying down beside the tree. "guess what?" sohyun exhales heavily. jisoo squints her eyes open. "what?" jisoo sits up, observing the livid friend's every move.

"what's got you so riled up?" jisoo slowly places her hand on her shoulder. "jimin." she seethes out. "what about him?" jisoo frowns, seeing how her friend developed a new hate towards the boy.

"his girlfriend is here. she apparently came to 'surprise' him." sohyun air quotes, rolling her eyes. jisoo blanks out, her eyes showing no emotion. she clears her throat before looking at her best friend with a smile.

"that's good then. now, i have to water the vegetable seeds i just planted." jisoo stands up, dusting her knees and hands. "are you okay ji?" sohyun looks at jisoo with concern written all over her face.

"yes hyun. i'm all good. i'll see you later." jisoo takes a breath before leaving sohyun. jisoo walks down toward the field with tears filling her vision. "i'm a fool to even forget about her." she mutters, wiping her tears.

"jisoo, do you want to have dinner with us? jimin has a new friend over at our place." mrs.park softly smiles. "i'm good auntie." jisoo shakes her head. "i insist jisoo." mrs.park grabs jisoo's hand, her eyes flash with a hint sadness.

"aunt—" "jisoo?" a gentle voice called. a voice that jisoo didn't want to hear. jisoo looks over mrs.park to see julie waving at her with a smile. "julie." jisoo forces a smile.

julie sprints towards jisoo, dramatically embracing jisoo as if they were long lost lovers. jisoo gasps at the impact. "how are you?" julie releases the hug. "good. what about you?" jisoo nods.

"i've been great." julie creases into a smile. "so did you take up the modeling offer?" julie nudges with a grin. jisoo shakes her head. "i don't plan on taking the offer." julie's smile falters, pouting.

"come on—" "son jisoo!" sohyun and joohyuk walks towards jisoo's side. sohyun glares at julie, drilling a hole on julie's forehead.

julie smiles at joohyuk and sohyun. "hi, i don't think we've met. i'm julie. i'm jimin's girlf—" "his bitch?" sohyun snaps. joohyuk, jisoo and mrs.park gapes at sohyun in shock. "uh" julie laughs awkwardly.

"look, i don't like you and neither does anyone here." sohyun walks closer to julie. julie starts walking backwards. "just leave. you've already ruined a persons life don't go around ruining another one." sohyun tightens her jaw.

"what's going on here?" jimin asks, his friends following him in suit. julie runs over to jimin with her eyes tearing up. jimin wraps his arms around her shoulder in a protective manner.

"can someone tell me what's going on?" jimin says, glaring at jisoo. "why is julie crying?" jimin's hard glare morphs into a soft one, staring down at julie.

"jisoo? do you have something to say?" jimin growls. jisoo frowns, hearing his accusations. "are you acc—" "i made her cry." sohyun speaks up. jimin's glare turns to sohyun. "what? didn't expect that? you think jisoo made her cry?" sohyun steps in front of jimin.

"sohyun, lets go." joohyuk grabs her shoulder. sohyun shakes off his hand, glaring at julie. "don't act like the victim here. you are nothing more than a—"

"sohyun don't you think you've crossed the line?" jimin asks, thrusting his hand through his hair. "don't you think you've crossed the line?" sohyun glares at him.

"what do you mean?" sohyun scoffs. "just answer this. did you ever and i mean ever think about jisoo?" sohyun asks. jimin opens his mouth but quickly closes it again.

"what? cat got your tongue?" sohyun chuckles sickly. "yes, i did think about her. i thought about her everyday, every night, every second." jimin's voice softens.

"and that's why you still got into a relationship. even after the promise you've made." sohyun laughs in disgust. "and you have the audacity to say you thought about her?" sohyun rolls her eyes. "you became pathetic jimin." sohyun harshly pushes jimin, making his stumble back.

"sohyun that's enough. let's just go." jisoo calls out. sohyun snaps her head back at jisoo. "no. he should hear this. he deserves to hear this. does he think he can live in cloud nine when you're here suffering all alone, by yourself? i've watched you destroy yourself once but i'm not watching you do that twice." sohyun turns back to jimin.

"what do you mean jisoo destroyed herself once?" jimin glances at jisoo. sohyun shakes her head. "why do you care?" jimin clenches his jaw. "of course i—"

jisoo turns her head to joohyuk. "do something." she pleads. "as much as i want to, i can't. jisoo look around you. everyone here is worried for you and i just came to know about jimin having a girlfriend. he  really did change." joohyuk states, staring down at the ground.

"joohyuk, i didn't change." jimin retorts. sohyun starts laughing. "you didn't change? very funny. you did nothing but change. you turned from being the caring and understanding jimin to this city person who thinks of promises as nothing but dirt." sohyun spits out.

"enough! enough is enough! sohyun you're going to stop. i appreciate you doing this but i'm okay hyun. please, let's just go." jisoo smiles, holding sohyun's hand.

"jimin can do whatever he wants to. it's his life." jisoo smiles, hugging her. "let's go back to my place and have a sleepover, like the old times." joohyuk frowns. "what about me? can i join?" sohyun scoffs.

"no." jisoo laughs, throwing her head back. "of course, let's go big guy." jisoo wiggles her finger towards him. "also, i'm really sorry for all this guys. we'll get going now." jisoo avoids looking at jimin and julie.

"wait! don't i get a say in this?" julie calls out. sohyun quickly snaps her head to her. "hell no. you just shut your dirty sugar coated mouth and go back to wherever you came from. don't ever come to our village ever again. if i don't see you out of this town by tomorrow then you'll see the worst of me bitch." sohyun exhales, grabbing both her best friends by the arm, dragging them inside jisoo's house.
