twenty three

subtle knocks were heard from the door. jisoo having sensitive ears could hear the soft knocks emitting from the door. she rubs her eyes followed by a groan, shifting.

"what time is it?" she checks her phone. "who on earth is coming to my place at 2:50 a.m?!" jisoo stands up, walking towards the door.

"jimin? what are you doing here at this time?" jisoo scratches her head. "can i come in? it's quite cold outside." jimin shivers. "oh uh sure. come in." jisoo opens the door wider, letting jimin enter.

"nothing has changed." jimin looks around with a soft smile gracing his lips. "yeah, i don't intend to either. but why are you here?" jisoo closes her door.

jimin looks at jisoo nervously. "i came here to apologize and to tell you the truth but you have to tell me the truth too." jimin stuffs his hand inside his pocket.

"okay—" "but can we talk that about near the ocean?" jimin intervenes. jisoo looks at him with a are you crazy? expression. "please, i've been wanting to watch the sunrise." jimin pouts.

jisoo sighs. "okay wait." jisoo opens her bottom drawer and takes out a jacket. she wears them and puts on a small woolen scarf. "let's go." jisoo picks up her house keys and heads outside with jimin.

"are you gonna talk about this now or when we get there?" jisoo asks walking side by side with jimin. "when we get there." he huffs out.

"i've missed this place." jimin smiles in peace. "did you meet old man sangmin?" jisoo questions, looking at jimin. "nope. i plan on meeting him soon. how is he by the way?" jisoo chuckles.

"well, he is grumpier as ever but he is nice." jisoo smiles. "be careful, some rocks are quite slippery." jisoo warns, spreading her arms out and walks cautiously.

"woah!" jimin yells before falling hard on the rocky ground with jisoo. "jimin!" jisoo groans in pain. "why the hell did you grab my arm?!" jisoo holds onto jimin's jacket whilst pulling herself upwards.

jimin suddenly starts bursting out laughing as he is still on the ground. "what's going on with you?" jisoo stares down at jimin as if he is a crazy person. "stand up or we'll miss the sunrise." jisoo pats his shoulders.

"oh right!" jimin smiles, standing up. they walk towards the ocean. "ah i've missed this place more than i thought." jimin grins, sitting down on one of the rocks.

he looks down to see the blue ocean. "so are you going to tell me what happened now?" jisoo questions, stretching her legs outwards. "oh right, i will." and sits up straight and clears his throat.
