Practice makes perfect, but no one is perfect so why bother practice? Reality is, it'll took you much longer to master a certain skill because people nowadays are good in procastinating.
We're both just the same.
I play instruments in my own will for entertainment and such stuff, but you know what's irritating? That I just suck at playing something over months of training, but even though I'm improving, I can clearly see how slow my progression is.
Today's rant is about when you just suck at something you want to learn, and even though you just want to give up and slam your head for it, you still want to learn because someday you will need that skill.
1) Mathematics
I love Math, I really do. But sometimes, I get confused even though I listen very well and shit happens and after the dismissal, I still don't get it.
Oh, and out topic, have you ever experience the kind of memory loss in Math? I mean, you just learnt that lesson two days ago and now you don't remember single anything? And it's spiteful that you need to study everyday so you won't forget about it, ya feel.
2) (Any) Sports
I don't hate outdoor sports, I'm just not a fan of it. I've played soccer, table tennis, badmenton and chess but that's all of it. The thing is, sports that occured to be using a larger ball (except soccer) like basketball, volleyball, etc., I just don't get it. I just suck.
3) Cooking (Seldomly)
I know and love baking, because once upon a time, my dad owned a bakery so I used to plaster my face with flour. But cooking, in the other planet, is a different thing. At times, I'm good at simple dishes but most of the time, I'm capable of burning the whole kitchen, together with the house, so I should probably stop.
But I'm always hungry, so maybe not. :3
4) Strumming patterns
I don't have a proper concentration precisely, so I suck at this too. I mean, I play the guitar barely and rarely as much as I can handle, but truth to be told, I need someone to assist and teach me the strumming patterns.
No matter how much you or I suck at something, failing for that matter, don't just give up with one try only. Okay fine, I'm a noob, but we both know that we have our own specialties and noobies.
